Tengchong is located in the west of Yunnan Province, with a land area of 5,845 square kilometers, and governs 1 1 town and 7 townships. There are 25 ethnic groups, including Han, Hui, Dai, Wa, Lisu and Achang, with a total population of 686,000 at the end of 20 18. It is a national civilized city.

1, Tengchong belongs to the Indian Ocean monsoon climate, which combines the advantages of continental climate and maritime climate. It is sunny in winter and spring, warm in summer and autumn, cool and pleasant, with an annual average rainfall of 153 1mm and an annual average relative humidity of 77%. The lowest temperature in winter should not be lower than 0℃ to avoid cold.

Compared with the tourism resources in the surrounding areas, Tengchong is unique and complementary.
