It is composed of a main dam, auxiliary dam, water conveyance tunnel, spillway tunnel, spillway, and power station.

Ulanzhao Reservoir is located in the middle reaches of Yinma River, a tributary of Laoha River in Salibaba Township, Aohan Banner. The basin area is 200 square kilometers, with a total storage capacity of 8.96 million cubic meters. It is a small (1) type reservoir. Construction started in October 1959 and was completed at the end of 1959. The state subsidized investment was 200,000 yuan. After it was silted out and scrapped in 1965, the dam site was moved 3 kilometers upward and rebuilt. The total designed storage capacity is 12.6 million cubic meters, with an active storage capacity of 3.06 million cubic meters and a dead storage capacity of 1.46 million cubic meters, making it a medium-sized reservoir. The reservoir consists of a main dam, auxiliary dam, spillway, and water conveyance tunnel. The reconstruction project invested 128,700 yuan in state subsidies, completed 10,000 cubic meters of earth and stone, and took 258,000 man-days. It was completed in 1966. It was silted up again in 1985. After three years of construction, a flood discharge and sand flushing tunnel was built in 1992 in an effort to restore part of the storage capacity, extend the service life of the reservoir, and increase the benefits to farmers.

Dahushi Reservoir is the second large reservoir in Chifeng. It is located in Xiquan Township, Ningcheng County, downstream of the Heili River, a tributary of the Laoha River. The controlled basin area is 540 square kilometers, accounting for 85.4 of the total basin area of ​​632 square kilometers. It is a large reservoir mainly used for irrigation and flood control, as well as power generation and fish farming. The total storage capacity is 119.6 million cubic meters, the flood control storage capacity is 57.57 million cubic meters, the active storage capacity is 63.22 million cubic meters, and the dead storage capacity is 6.78 million cubic meters. The design benefits are irrigating 224,000 acres, protecting a population of 214,000, annual power generation of 4.16 million kilowatt hours, and 6,000 acres of fish farming surface. The reservoir consists of a dam, a water conveyance tunnel, a flood discharge tunnel, and a power station.

Gaojiadian Reservoir is located in Gaojiadian Village, Baoguotu Township, Aohan Banner. Construction started in May 1974 and the main body was completed in July 1976. It controls the Gaojiadian River, a tributary of the Manniu River, with a controlled drainage area of ​​82.6 square kilometers and a total storage capacity of 19.46 million cubic meters. The reservoir consists of a dam and a water tunnel. The maximum dam height is 18 meters and the dam length is 513 meters. Water conveyance tunnels are located at both ends of the dam. The maximum discharge capacity is 22.3 cubic meters per second in the east tunnel and 19.9 cubic meters per second in the west tunnel. It was designed by the Aohan Banner Water Conservancy Team and constructed by Baoguo Tu Commune. The designed irrigation area is 15,000 acres, the effective irrigation area is 3,000 acres, and the fish farming water surface is 1,500 acres. On August 19, 1984, the highest water level in history reached 98.1 meters, but no abnormalities were found in the main project. From 1977 to 1985, 3,000 acres of farmland were irrigated every year. In 1985, 1.487 million cubic meters of siltation had been accumulated. Fishing began in 1982.

The Erdaohezi Reservoir is located in the upper reaches of the main stream of Xiluga River in Laofu Township, a suburb. Construction started in March 1970 and was completed in January 1972. It is the third resumption of construction. The controlled watershed area is 1,509 square kilometers, with a total designed storage capacity of 93 million cubic meters, a flood control storage capacity of 39.1 million cubic meters, a prosperous storage capacity of 28.1 million cubic meters, and a dead storage capacity of 31 million cubic meters. The reservoir project consists of a dam, spillway, and water conveyance tunnel. The maximum dam height is 44.5 meters and the dam length is 370 meters. The spillway is open type with a net width of 56 meters and a maximum discharge volume of 370 cubic meters per second. The water conveyance tunnel is a pressurized tunnel with a maximum discharge volume of 313 cubic meters per second. The designed irrigation area is 124,000 acres, and the fish farming water surface is 5,400 acres.

The Sanzuodian Reservoir is a large (II) type reservoir and the largest water conservancy construction project during the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" period in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The project is located downstream of the Yin River, a tributary of the Xiliao River in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. The dam site It is 0.5 kilometers upstream of Sanzuodian Village, Chutoulang Town, Songshan District, Chifeng City, and 35 kilometers away from the urban area of ​​Chifeng City. The main functions of Sanzuodian Reservoir include urban flood control, water supply, ecological agricultural irrigation, etc.

The total design storage capacity of the project is 305 million cubic meters, the controlled watershed area is 2,842 square kilometers, and the annual runoff is 141 million cubic meters. It can increase the flood control standard in Chifeng urban area from the original once in 5 to 20 years to once in 100 years. The water supply is 47.45 million cubic meters, which can provide supplementary water source for downstream ecological agricultural irrigation and generate 6.92 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually. The project started construction in 2005. In 2009, the project met the water storage requirements of the lower gate and was completed by the end of 2011.

The Mengjia Duan Reservoir is located on the right bank of the middle reaches of the main stream of the Liao River (West Liao River), between Minren Sumu and Baxiantong Town, Naiman Banner, Tongliao City. The reservoir receives water from the south flood gate of Sujiabao Water Conservancy Project and consists of two upper and lower reservoirs. The upper reservoir has a storage capacity of 5870000 cubic meters and the lower reservoir has a capacity of 49300000 cubic meters. The total storage capacity is 108000000 cubic meters. It is a complex for flood control, irrigation, A large plain reservoir integrating breeding and tourism. The Mengjia Section Reservoir Project consists of an upper reservoir, main and auxiliary reservoir flood diversion channels, a lower reservoir, and a spillway. The reservoir is Level 2 and the buildings are Level 3. The design flood standard is once in 50 years, and the design flood peak is 2,592 cubic meters. Meilihe Yangshui Station is located in Yuanbaoshan District. Ti Laoha River water, the designed water flow rate is 0.67 cubic meters/second, and the total installed capacity is 537 kilowatts/4 units. The designed irrigation area is 23,000 acres, and the actual irrigation area is 7,300 acres.

The construction of Panlongshan Irrigation District started in 1958. The irrigation scope covers 100,000 acres of farmland in Nailin, Dianzi, Madiyingzi, Pingzhuang, Meilihe and other communes on the left bank of the Laoha River, as well as Nailin Fruit Farm, with 27 brigades and 189 production teams. The main canal is 32 kilometers long, there are 15 branch canals with a length of 95.7 kilometers, and there are 37 bucket canals with a length of 187.0 kilometers. In 1959, 93 canal head and canal system buildings were completed, with a state investment of 978,100 yuan, consumption of 57 tons of steel, 1,219 tons of cement, 663 cubic meters of wood, and 827,000 working days. In 1960, it was transferred to engineering support, and by 1985, the total investment was 2.6316 million yuan.

The Yingjin River Irrigation Canal is the largest irrigation project built in Chifeng during the "Second Five-Year Plan" period. Located on the left bank of Yingjin River in the eastern suburbs, it consists of two canals and two main canals. The water diversion flow rate of the first stem is 13 cubic meters per second and the length is 46 kilometers; the water diversion volume of the second stem is 50 cubic meters per second and the length is 53 kilometers. The two main canals have 20 branch canals with a total length of 91 kilometers; and 76 bucket canals with a total length of 203 kilometers. There are 309 buildings above the branch canals, with a designed irrigation area of ​​310,000 acres, an effective irrigation area of ​​2.21 million acres, and a guaranteed irrigation area of ​​10,000 acres. There are 463 electromechanical wells in the irrigation area, and the wells and canals are double insured. The benefit areas include Shuidi Township, Anqinggou Township, Taipingdi Township, Bakenzhong Township, Henan Yingzi Township, Anqinggou Forestry Farm, Dongshahuang Breeding Farm, Donghu Fishing Ground and Fengshuigou Town in Yuanbaoshan District in the suburbs. The average annual water inflow of the two canals is 104.8 million cubic meters. Dahushi Hydropower Station is a supporting project of Dahushi Reservoir in Ningcheng County. The state invested 1.21 million yuan to install three 500-kilowatt hydroelectric generating units to generate seasonal power and an annual power generation of 4.16 million kWh. Construction started in November 1977, completed and put into trial operation in 1981, and connected to the grid for power generation in 1982.

The Gouyutai Hydropower Station is a supporting project of the Gouyutai Reservoir in Ningcheng County. The state invested 40,000 yuan to install three hydroelectric generating units with a capacity of 250 kilowatts. It was completed in October 1979 and put into seasonal power generation in 1983, with an annual power generation of 700,000 kWh.

The Hongshan Reservoir Power Station is a supporting project of the Hongshan Reservoir. It is equipped with 5 hydroelectric generating units with a total capacity of 6720 kilowatts. During the wet season, the Liaohe River irrigation area generates electricity when water is used (seasonal power generation), with an annual power generation of 2.4 million kWh, which has been integrated into the power grid for operation.

Yupu Power Station, located downstream of Hongshan Reservoir, is one of the Laoha River cascade development power stations. The power station was built in the early 1990s and is one of the backbone construction projects of Wengniute Electrification County. The power station is a behind-dam hydropower station with a storage capacity of 3.7 million cubic meters. The design water head is 19.6 meters, the flow rate of a single unit is 16.27m/s, the power station has an installed capacity of 2×2500kw, the annual utilization hours are 3780 hours, and the designed annual power generation is 18.9 million kw·h/year.
