Zipai is the product of separate branches of the Ming Dynasty after the surnames were unified, and includes two meanings: generation and lineage. Character generation means seniority. In the lineage of the same surname, if the characters in the order are consecutive, it is a lineage; due to factors such as region or lack of unified genealogy, there are different lines in a surname. In order to unify the calligraphy school, it is necessary to organize and continue the unified calligraphy school when revising the genealogy. The Zi style first started in the Spring and Autumn Period, with "Meng, Zhong, Shu, Ji" representing the elders and younger brothers. By the time of Wang Mang, the same character was used between the surname and the given name, or the same radical character was used when taking a single name, indicating that they were of the same generation and were brothers. The calligraphy school can be divided into two categories: the "Changliushui" style which is constantly continued and the "cyclic style" which is fixed and repeated from generation to generation.

Wu Ran's style of calligraphy is "Changliushui". When communicating with people with the same surname and honoring ancestors, the names should not be confused, the names should be polite, and the elders and younger ones should be in order.

In fact, the 40 characters after the word "Yong" are the "Unified School".
