Be alert! Tianjin tested positive for ice cream. Where is the source of the virus?
Since the outbreak of new crown pneumonia, people have been highly concerned. At one time, people thought that the epidemic was about to disperse, but recently, the epidemic suddenly repeated, and cases were constantly confirmed in various places, which made people particularly nervous.
There are not only more and more local cases, but also more and more cold chain-related foods that have been tested positive for COVID-19.
Now, Tianjin Health and Health Commission has informed Tianjin Daqiao Island Food Co., Ltd. that three ice cream samples have tested positive in COVID-19, which makes people panic for a time.
After urgent investigation by the prevention and control department of Tianjin, a total of 4,836 boxes of ice cream were produced, and 2,747 boxes have been sold, and the remaining 2,089 boxes have been sealed on site. The sold 18 12 boxes have been sold to other provinces. At present, the Tianjin prevention and control department has urgently contacted the local epidemic prevention headquarters.
Fortunately, timely control, the vast majority of 935 boxes are still not sold to the outside world. So far, only 65 out of a total of 390 boxes of ice cream have been sold to the market. At present, relevant departments are tracking 65 boxes of ice cream that have been sold.
At present, Tianjin Prevention and Control Headquarters has banned Tianjin Daqiaodao Food Co., Ltd., banned people and goods from entering and leaving, sealed up the goods in stock, and tracked all outbound goods.
This batch of COVID-19 was positive for three kinds of chocolate-flavored ice cream, strawberry-flavored ice cream and taro-flavored ice cream submitted by Tianjin Daqiaodao Food Co., Ltd. on June 5438+ 10/2 and June 5438+ 10/068 respectively.
Preliminary epidemiological investigation shows that the raw materials of this batch of epidemic-related commodities include imported foods such as New Zealand milk powder and Ukrainian whey powder, and the relevant personnel of the enterprises involved have carried out regular nucleic acid testing according to regulations. So far, all the test results are not negative.
At present, all sales storefronts of the enterprise have been closed, the flow of personnel has been adjusted and nucleic acid and antibody tests have been carried out, and all raw materials, existing commodities, internal and external environments of the enterprise, employee dormitories, etc. have been sampled for nucleic acid testing and national disinfection.
The cold chain is the culprit. This is not the first time that cold chain food samples in COVID-19 have been tested positive. Previously, COVID-19 has been detected in seafood, fresh food and other foods and packaging.
COVID-19 was first detected on a salmon chopping board in a wholesale market in Beijing, and 36 related personnel were infected.
Subsequently, another customs officer detected COVID-19 from the inner wall samples and outer packaging of containers loaded with Ecuadorian frozen shrimp. Zhangzhou City also found that COVID-19 was found in the packaging of frozen flying fish eggs stored in the cold storage of production enterprises.
This time, COVID-19 was detected in ice cream samples, which is the first dairy product in China to be found to carry the virus.
Earlier, when interviewing people in the dairy industry, a reporter asked questions about dairy products and COVID-19. At that time, people concerned once thought that although dairy products were also cold-chain foods, due to the differences in production technology, the probability of dairy products carrying viruses was very small.
Because microorganisms are strictly controlled in the production process of dairy products, there is basically no human intervention from raw milk to final packaging products.
Moreover, there is a strict sterilization process in the production process, so the virus will not survive.
Therefore, it can be judged that this ice cream involves COVID-19, and the biggest probability is that the outer box may be contaminated and has never been contaminated by COVID-19.
The epidemic situation is not optimistic, and consumers still need to be cautious. There are still 65 cases of ice cream involved in the market, which once caused panic among the general public. Many citizens who bought Da Qiao Road brand ice cream were particularly anxious, and some even complained that they would never buy ice cream again.
However, the contaminated packaging leads to a positive COVID-19 test, which does not mean that it will pose a serious threat to food and consumers.
After COVID-19 was detected in the earliest packaged samples of frozen cod, experts have explained to the public that as long as people do personal protection, independently package and preserve frozen food, and disinfect it in time, the risk of COVID-19 virus infection through contact with or eating frozen food is still very low.
Authoritative institutions and organizations such as the World Health Organization, the European Food Safety Agency, and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have also expressed clear views. COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through respiratory tract, droplets and close contact between people, and the probability of infection through digestive tract is still very small. In addition, there is no evidence of food transmission in COVID-19.
However, this does not mean that we can relax our minds. We should still pay attention to food safety, keep it clean, separate raw food from cooked food, cook it thoroughly, keep food safe and airtight, and pay attention to the safety of drinking water and food raw materials.
It used to be cold chain food, but now it is ice cream. It can be seen that the food transported by cold chain has a great risk of polluting COVID-19, even including raw materials for making ice cream and other dairy products, such as imported dairy milk powder. Everyone needs to do extra disinfection on the outer packaging of these products.
Today, the epidemic situation in Europe and America is still not well controlled. These countries are also big exporters of milk powder and whey, including many low-temperature dairy products. These foods will have huge potential risks, so remind everyone to pay special attention.
The epidemic continues to ravage the world, which is a challenge for all mankind, and everyone cannot relax their vigilance. Judging from the current situation, everyone should do personal protection, wear masks, wash their hands frequently, have more ventilation and less gathering.
Nowadays, the ice cream incident in Tianjin also reminds everyone to be wary of importing low-temperature products, and frozen food is best disinfected.
I believe that with our joint efforts, we will defeat COVID-19 soon.
