The original appearance and street layout of Lianhua Town Street

Lianhua Town was built in the Qing and Yong Dynasties. It was originally built as an earth wall, but it was changed into a stone wall during the Qianlong period. It is made of pentagonal stones cut from limestone. The wall is 4.5m high, 2.7m thick and about1500m in circumference. It opened the east, south and west gates, but the north gate was not opened. There are two kinds of folk sayings. One is that when the city was built, the Yin and Yang Master (Feng Shui Master) was invited to see it, but the north gate could not be opened. The second is that there is a farmland outside the north gate, and there is a sow dragon under the field. The field is like a dragon pool, and the water rushes up. For example, when the North Gate was opened to invade the Dragon King, the dinosaur king flooded the Watertown in a rage. Therefore, in the above two statements, the north gate should not be opened, so it has to be set as a fortress. Later, there was a folk song called "What a small water city, four doors open three doors, raise some red flowers and marry more foreigners." Several gates in the southeast and west have strong gates, guarded by towers and people. The streets in the city are five or six meters wide, and the houses are mostly of shingle structure, with few brick and wood structures. There are six streets in the city, namely Avenue, Shuyuan Street, West Street, Shatian Street, Longdong Street and Guan Sheng Store Street. Back Street is changed to 6 Street, Shuyuan Street to 2 Street, West Street to 3 Street, Guan Sheng Store Street to 4 Street and Shatian Street to 5 Street. The east gate is a street. In recent years, police stations have changed streets into roads, main street and Shuyuan street into Heping road, West street into Jiefang road, Guanshengdian street and Longdong street into Freedom road, Shatian street into Asha road, and the east gate turned to the entrance of Lianhua Town Community and turned into Guangming road.

There are four streets in the dam, namely, Seven Street, Eight Street, Nine Street and Ten Street. Specifically, from Beef Lane (also known as Huilong Lane) to Guanting in the west, Beef Lane to Chalin in the east, Eighth Street and Eighth Street to the south intersection of Brazil and Ninth Street, and Zhu Shi Street to Zhongshanjiao and Tenth Street. Now the police station has changed the street to road, the seventh street to Caiyuan Road, the eighth street to Guanlin Road, the ninth street to Xinsheng Road and the tenth street to Zhonghuan Road. Several roads have been built on the dam, such as Renmin East Road, Anju Road and Brazil South Road, and several roads have not yet been named.
