May I ask the cultural characteristics and historical celebrities of Lu 'an Mountain in Yongchun County, Quanzhou, Fujian Province?
As early as the Ming and Qing dynasties, local villagers regarded this place as a treasure trove of geomantic omen, built temples and towers, and prayed for well-being. According to legend, during the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty (AD 1772), the civilized tower built by Zhizhou Zhang in Yongchun was destroyed by the flood. It is well known that Wenfeng Tower rebuilt on Ren Yao Road in Yongchun was destroyed by typhoon in196 180 years later. These two towers are collectively called Lu 'an Tower. 1In the spring of 984, Mr. Yan Binsheng, a Hong Kong resident, returned to his hometown to visit relatives and generously donated money to build a tower. The Twin Towers stood on Lu 'an Mountain.
In the 1990s, Yongchun County decided to develop Lu 'an Mountain and build a forest park along the foothills for citizens to enjoy leisure, fitness and scenery. In the past two years, they have invested a lot of money and planned and built more than 50 pavilions with different shapes, which are scattered on the mountain roads. At the same time, a large area of citrus orchards and tea gardens will be planted, and the 100 mu nursery will be opened for tourists to watch.
