What is the connection between old superstition and Buddhism? Why do you believe in Buddhism?
Everyone may have faith in his own heart and his own value system. Belief has nothing to do with superstition, it is spiritual connotation, a kind of spiritual strength. Religious belief is nothing more than pinning the source of this spiritual power on a certain religion, which is essentially faith.
Superstition, on the other hand, is a kind of spiritual blind obedience to the forces of idealism, even divorced from the objective material world, which is unscientific, progressive and even ignorant.
Buddhism is a religious belief, a culture and a place of belief, and its essence has nothing to do with superstition. Superstition is a distorted fact added by people's subjective thoughts, and religion is the spiritual accomplishment and cultural connotation that actually exists.
So your superstition and your belief in Buddhism and your belief in Buddhism are three different States and realms.
