Aerial photography of the Jinding of Wudang Mountain, the Qionglou Yuyu built in the sky, is like a fairyland.

"I want to go home by the wind, but I am afraid of Qionglou Yuyu. It is too cold at the top." Su Shi described the beautiful scenery of the Heavenly Palace in "Shuidiao Song Tou".

I think the Jinding used to praise Wudang Mountain is the best.

Last weekend, I went to Wudang Mountain in Hubei Province. The Tianzhu peak photographed by drone aerial photography is shrouded in a mist. The sun shines on the jinding, and the mountains behind it are like a fairyland.

Wudang Mountain is located in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, and it is very convenient to come to Guangzhou. It takes two hours by plane to Shiyan airport, and then half an hour by car to reach the scenic spot.

Wudang Mountain and its ancient buildings were selected into the World Cultural Heritage List on 1994, which is a perfect combination of natural landscape and human landscape.

The most important tourist attraction of Wudang Mountain is Jinding, which is the essence of the whole ancient architectural complex. After reading it, you will definitely sigh the infinite wisdom and superb skills of the ancients.

Jinding was built by Judy in Yongle period of Ming Dynasty. The statues, confessions and roof beams in the temple are all made of brass, which represents the highest level of bronze casting and gold-plating technology in Ming Dynasty.

According to the documentary, the whole Jinding * * * has more than 3,000 components, all of which were cast in Beijing, then transported by water from the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, along the Yangtze River and Hanshui River, and finally reached Wudang Mountain, where they were assembled and riveted.

The whole building of Jinding is a bronze-cast, wood-like palace building. From the appearance, it adopts the same double-eaved temple structure as the Hall of Supreme Harmony in the Forbidden City. It is the highest-level building in China and can only be used by the royal family.

After more than 600 years of baptism, Jinding is still as brilliant as ever. This is because craftsmen cast it by lost wax method, and its surface is gold-plated (commonly known as gold-coated copper), which is a pearl in the existing ancient buildings and casting technology.

Other famous scenic spots with Jinding in China are Mount Emei in Sichuan, but the top of Mount Emei is a large plain, which is suitable for building such a large building.

The peak of Tianzhu Peak in Wudang Mountain is very narrow. Architecturally speaking, this place is not suitable for building temples, so we have to say how huge the construction project was at that time.

Before going up the mountain, the tour guide introduced us. At that time, Yongle sent an imperial envoy to lead 300,000 military and civilian craftsmen, and it took ten years to build Wudang, which was known as the royal architectural action of "building the Forbidden City in the north and Wudang in the south". The Jinding in Beijing and the Forbidden City were built at the same time.

The reason why Judy attaches so much importance to the construction of Jinding in Wudang Mountain is because the mountain type of Wudang Mountain is very special, with the straight Tianzhu Peak as the center, and the slopes of the surrounding peaks gradually decrease outward, forming the effect of "stars arching the moon".

This peculiar mountain situation is consistent with the emperor's ruling thought. Jin Dian is the temple where Judy preached the divine right of imperial power and showed the legitimacy of her rule, so she spent so much effort to build this Qionglou Yuyu.

Below the Jinding, there is a circle of towering city walls, which also echoes the Forbidden City in Beijing. There are four doors on the wall. But only the worst door can enter.

To climb the Jinding, visitors must pass the Hall of Supreme Harmony first.

The Hall of Supreme Harmony is built on the hillside south of Tianzhu Peak. The whole building adopts French Ming Dynasty royal architectural style, with red walls and green tiles, and the layout is ingenious.

The picture above shows "Da Yue Taihe Palace". The tour guide said that when the Five Mountains closed for meditation, Wugong Mountain was not within the Five Mountains. Therefore, in the Ming Dynasty, Judy ordered that Wugong Mountain be named Da Yue, which means the sacred mountain above the Five Mountains.

Although the area of the Hall of Supreme Harmony is not large, the historical sites are well preserved, especially the Imperial Classics Hall. The portraits on the roof beams are beautifully carved and beautiful.

China has some traditional fairy tales, such as the characters in Eight Immortals Crossing the Ocean.

The Royal Classic Hall is based on a huge stone with a wooden structure of the Ming Dynasty.

After the believers reached the top of the mountain, they all burned incense on this Little Square.

On the left of the Hall of Supreme Harmony is the Drum Tower, and on the right is the Bell Tower.

The tiles on the temple beams are all glazed tiles with dragon patterns on them, which is very royal.

Emperor Jiajing rebuilt the royal monument in the Hall of Supreme Harmony.

There is a transfer hall opposite the Hall of Supreme Harmony. Visitors must enter through narrow passages on both sides and circle around the bronze hall. In the narrow space, it was dark, and we couldn't see our predecessors and descendants.

There are two directions to reach Jinding, one is Wu Yuling (Nanyan direction), and the other is Qiongtaichung view. If you want to take the cable car, it's Qiongtai. If you want to go to the top of the mountain, most people will take crow ridge. After Huanglong Cave, Wuyaling will have a fork in the road, which goes to the left as Qianshan (Shinto in Qing Dynasty) and to the right as Houshan (Shinto in Ming Dynasty). These two routes are opposite. There are many ancient buildings on Shinto in Houshan in Ming Dynasty, but the route is the longest. The piedmont route is shorter, so you can see less scenery.

There is a bus connection at the entrance of the scenic spot. No matter going to Nanyan or Qiongtai, you need to change at the transfer point of Taizipo.

About tickets:

Tickets for this mountain are free for the time being. Transportation 105 yuan (you must go up the mountain by car, because it is absolutely impossible to walk, the distance is too far, too far). The cable car goes up to 70 yuan and down to 60 yuan. Tickets are collected for Jinding and Zixiao Palace on the mountain respectively. Jinding 27 yuan, Zixiao Palace 15 yuan.

Suggestion: We will take a cable car from Qiongtai to Jinding, then walk to Wu Yuling, then visit Nanyan Scenic Area and take a bus to Zixiao Palace to continue our tour.
