Anecdotes of manor in Xielu Mountain Villa

Lu Yunong (also known as Lu Chuntang), nicknamed Grandma Taro, was born in Wushi Town, Luchuan County in 1871. He is short in stature, only about 1.57 meters, and weighs about 8 kilograms. There are "three joys" (that is, Wenxi, Wuxi and Wuxi). It is precisely because of the hobby of house happiness that a lot of financial resources have been used to build Xielu Mountain Villa. Lu Yunong is a literati. From his 6th birthday, he wrote a pair of couplets in the Mid-Mountain Pavilion, saying, "If you ask the past, you will only get halfway to this mountain, and the messenger will expect to cultivate people for a hundred years", you will know his writing skills and lofty ideals. Although, he is just an attached tribute student (Gong Sheng is a talent selected from the scholar through examination and ready to recommend), he can't choose Gong Sheng from the examination way, and he can also get it by donating money to the government. This is an attached tribute student. Although it costs money, Lu Yunong's writing skills are enough to make him coquettish in this remote place of Wushi Town, Luchuan. Lu Yunong is a warrior. Although he has never commanded a regular army (but he has won many honors and won the title of major general), the credit for leading a militia to maintain public order cannot be erased. Lu Yunong is also an engineering designer. He expresses his love through architectural forms, making people know his artistic ideas and showing off his family background. On the door of the second door of Xielu Mountain Villa, there is a picture of a pumpkin, which perfectly shows the family of the owner of the villa, Lu Yunong. A main vine represents the owner himself; There are three golden pumpkins on the vine. Lu Yunong is a Hakka. In Hakka dialect, "home" is the same as "melon". Three melons mean that he has three homes. In fact, they mean that he owns property in three places-Luchuan, Liuzhou Luocheng and xuwen county, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province. Eight yellow melon leaves on the vine indicate that he has eight wives, and five melon flowers indicate that he has five sons. The lush foliage of pumpkin vines symbolizes his prosperous family. According to legend, Xielu Mountain Villa was built by Lu Yunong according to the description in "Lang Yong Ji" and "Dream of Red Mansions", imitating Suzhou gardens and falling from the mountain. The blue brick ravine does have some fun, but under the foil of modern fancy resorts, the manor is just a dilapidated old house in the Republic of China. Lu Yunong's wish has been buried with his bones. The cost of such a huge project construction is conceivable, and it is really doubtful how a mere attached worker can have such financial resources. In fact, as early as when Baise ruled the largest smoky soil passage in Guangxi, Lu Yunong took bribes from Long Jiguang for 2, yuan at a time. It should be said that when he started to build this villa, he was financially strong, and the three industries shown in the pumpkin map also coincided with this. People with money will naturally become rich, and Lu Yunong is no exception, but it was two years later that he began to build Xielu Villa. What is Lu Yunong's real idea? I'm afraid he has to understand it himself. But in any case, it is true that Lu Yunong's Xielu Villa made Lu Chuan famous. This fame is not only a display of buildings, but also a profound cultural connotation. Xielu Villa was originally named Shuren Academy. It is said that there are tens of thousands of books in the villa. The purpose of building the academy is to promote the spirit of Confucianism and the way of Confucius and Mencius. In front of the gate of Shuren College, there is a couplet: 3, cars of Andrew's wonderful books will be turned in, and 1, famous flowers will be planted to decorate this castle peak. It has been nearly a hundred years since the garden was built in January in the ninth year of the Republic of China (192). During the Cultural Revolution, the books in the academy were "burned to bury Confucianism", only the blue bricks and white walls in the courtyard were full of flowers and grass, and I still vaguely remember the lofty aspirations of the master. Quiet and elegant, there is no "wind, rain and reading" in Tao Ran Yishi's academy, only "voices, cars and laughter are annoying". After Lu Yunong's death, the manor was confiscated and listed as a key cultural relics protection unit and a key tourist attraction in the autonomous region. The academy was renamed Xielu Villa and Xielu Garden. During the period of Lu Yu's peasant country, he was the commander-in-chief of Guangxi's land, Bo, Lian and Hua. At that time, there was an anti-Japanese guerrilla team in southeastern Guangxi, and Lu Yunong came forward to suppress the anti-Japanese team and killed hundreds of people. It is said that after liberation, the local county magistrate of Luchuan caught Lu Yunong and asked Zhang Yunyi, the general stationed in Guangxi at that time, Zhang said, "He killed so many comrades of the * * * production party, so let's kill him." However, Lu Yunong is, after all, a major general in the Kuomintang. He was trained in the Whampoa Military Academy and was an alumnus of Premier Zhou Enlai. When Zhou Enlai received the news, he told Zhang, "Lu Yunong is old, and he wants to keep people under the gun. Can be left as a negative textbook. " But Zhou Enlai's word reached the place, and Lu Yunong had already been shot. Xie Lu Villa has half of the pavilions, which means that the planning of the villa is only half completed, and another meaning also implies that the owner's wishes are unfulfilled. The book was burned, and we can't verify how much national cultural heritage we lost because of this disaster. Shuren Bookstore is still gloomy like water in sunny days. Throughout history, it is not difficult to find that money and power are just a moment of glory, and only culture can last forever. Although Lu Yunong was a tribute student, when he was rich, he was able to connect with cultural construction, build the Shuren Bookstore and make the library collect tens of thousands of books, which was really commendable. Speaking of Lu Yunong, we have to mention Li Zongren, an important person in Guangxi at that time. Li Zongren has been to Shuren Bookstore. It is said that Lu Yunong at the foot of the mountain has persuaded Li to lend him 1, yuan in the name of running a school. However, when he arrived at this semi-mountain pavilion, he read the couplet "If you ask for the past, you will be educated for a hundred years." Only when you read the first part of Li Zongren did you know Lu Yunong's real intention. As a result, the second part was too lazy to read it, and the loan was also soaked in soup. Is there any basis for this? According to insiders, this is just a legend. The expectations expressed by Lu Yunong in this couplet are only expectations after all. At last, the villa was only half of the plan, and it was never added. In the next 2 years or so, his official position was only a departmental cadre. Perhaps, this is also the reason why the owner of the land will not cut corners because the mountain in front is too close. Later, after reading the relevant materials and listening to some local legends and stories about Lu Yunong, I realized that Lu Yunong was a short man: his eight wives were also short and small-of course, they were small and exquisite, and even his bearers were also short people. It is said that one of his bearers is still alive, over 1 years old, and he is indeed a short man. At this point, my mystery has been solved, and Lu Yunong does not want to see some contrast. Then, the lack of atmosphere and splendor in this villa may be related to his figure. This just corresponds to the proverb "Things take human form". What is the purpose of Xie Lu Villa built by Lu Yunong? Teaching and educating people, leisure vacation? ..... Looking at the overall situation, it is difficult for us to understand its real intention. The couplet that entered the door, "Andrew wrote three thousand cars to entertain himself, and then planted 1 thousand famous flowers to compose this castle peak", seems to indicate that this is his personal leisure place, while the couplet of "Shuren Hall", "Flowers and lust fascinate the fairy, and the sound of books is often accompanied by the third night of the month", is not like a school couplet, but more like a place where elegant poets live. Probably many people have seen this, so after liberation, it was renamed as "Xielu Garden" and "Xielu Villa". So, what is the most essential will of Lu Yunong to be a mountain villa? It's like a fog. No matter what the original intention of Lu Yunong to build the villa is, it is irrelevant today. The important thing is that he left us some cultural wealth and provided us with a good place for leisure and holiday.

In p>1944, Heping Middle School in Wushi Town was harassed by Japanese planes day and night, so it was unable to attend classes. At that time, with the consent of the original owner, six classes of students moved here to continue their classes, so as to maintain the normal order of teaching.
