Xi 'an Community was established in April 2008, which was formed by merging the original Xi 'an Village and adding the Greentown Fenghuayuan Community. The total number of households exceeded 1 1,000. The community is located in the west of Linping Vice City. Provincial Highway 09 runs through the whole territory, facing Alliance and Honglian Community across Qiaosi Port in the east, adjacent to Xinfeng and Sujia Community across Qiaosi Port and Shanghai-Hangzhou Line in the south, and bounded by Qiaosi Liang Shu Village in the west and south. The community covers a total area of 2.2 square kilometers, with more than 2,700 permanent residents and 82 registered in party member.

In April 2008, the work of removing villages and building houses was successfully completed. At present, there are 8 community workers, 5 with college education or above and 3 with high school education, with an average age of about 35. Xi 'an Community is adjacent to Alliance Community, Wanchang Community, Honglian Community, Qiantang Community, Tianwan Community, Sujia Community, Xin 'an Community, Xinfeng Community, Liansheng Community, Highland Community, Changshu Community, Henan Dai Community and Baoqiao Community.

Near Xi 'an community are China Jiangnan Water Culture Museum (Yuhang Museum), Canal Tangqi Ancient Town, Shang Yi Town, Yujiashan Site, Yuhang Local Records Museum and other tourist attractions. There are Hangzhou vermicelli, South American prawns in Hangzhou, Wu Shan shortbread, glutinous rice balls, braised pork in southern milk and other special foods.
