Taoism is a native religion in China. Pei Guofeng was founded by Zhang Ling (Zhang Daoling) in the Shun Di period of the Eastern Han Dynasty (126- 144). It takes "Tao" as its highest belief, hence the name "Tao". It is also called "Jiao Xuan" and "Fairy Road". Taoism was founded on the basis of China's ancient concept of worship of ghosts and gods, with Huang Lao's Taoist thought as the theoretical basis, and inherited the immortal theory of Fang Xian in the Warring States period.
Taoism, which worships the gods and ancestors, claims that the Yellow Emperor is the ancestor, inherits and maintains the national tradition of worshipping the gods and ancestors of the Chinese nation, and makes it standardized and religious. The gods worshipped by Taoism are the ancestors of gods, the gods of mountains and rivers, the ancestors of China, the sages of past dynasties and the fairies of Taoism. Where immortals really live, there are jade gardens in the sky, Qiongyu, and heaven on earth, which is desirable.
Accumulate virtue, do good and help others. Taoism integrates Confucian ethics and puts forward that "those who are Tao should make contributions first." "I miss you": "My husband should be practical, my virtue should be perfected, and my goodness should be prepared."
Taoism has a history of nearly 2000 years since its formation in the Eastern Han Dynasty. After the development of the Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, the prosperity of the Tang, Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties is still widely spread among the Chinese nation, and China's history, politics, philosophy, astronomy, geography, medicine, chemistry, literature, art, people ..
