Propagation method of guava seedlings
How to breed guava seedlings? Method 1, sowing and breeding
Guava seedlings can be propagated by sowing, and plants themselves can be propagated by the most natural and primitive method, that is, using the final product fruit of their reproductive system, taking out seeds, soaking them to accelerate germination, and carefully maintaining them after sowing to obtain seedlings germinated by seeds.
2. Cutting
Cutting propagation method is to use the asexual reproduction ability of plants, cut off vegetative organs, manually trim leaves and obliquely cut the bottom to increase the contact area, and then cut into the soil to cultivate seedlings. During this period, drugs, that is, rooting powder, can also be used for proper stimulation and regulation.
3. Layered propagation
The layering propagation method is also a common method to reproduce by using the asexual reproduction ability of plants. It is to peel off the bark of the middle part of the plant branches, bury the peeled part in the soil, and cut off the connection with the mother plant after the branches take root. It is characterized by the early use of nutrition provided by the mother plant.
4. Reproductive characteristics
Different modes of communication have different characteristics. Seedlings planted by sowing method may have variation and slow growth, but the root system is very developed. Although the seedlings propagated by layering method and cutting method grow fast, their roots are weak and their life span is obviously shortened.
