Where is Xi'an?
Xi'an is in Shaanxi Province, and Xi'an City is located in the Guanzhong Basin in the middle of the Yellow River Basin.
Xi'an, formerly known as Chang'an and Haojing in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shaanxi Province. It is the capital of Shaanxi Province, a sub-provincial city, a megacity, a national central city, the Xi'an metropolitan area and the core of the Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration.
