The format of English diary
Model essay in English diary format
Friday, February 5 is rainy.
Last night, I dreamed that I became a very beautiful bride. I dreamed that I was in a forest. There are many animals in the forest. Then, an old bird told us, "We have a very beautiful forest, so we should protect it from pollution." All the animals agree with him.
But the next day, people came to our forest. Many animals were caught. People want to build houses and parks in our forest. Many old trees have been cut down. Suddenly, there was nothing.
I was shocked, and then I burst into tears. I woke up at midnight. This is just a dream.
Matters needing attention in English diary writing
1. Journal format
English diaries have the same format as Chinese diaries, and usually consist of two parts, namely, the end of the book and the text. The first line of the diary should indicate the date, week and the weather at that time. Write the date on it, the week in the middle and the weather in the upper right corner. If it is a travel book, you can also write down the location.
2. Diary style
The writing style of English diary is not limited, but for primary school students, it is mainly narrative. The content of primary school students' diaries is generally based on life, which can be long or short. There's really nothing to say, just a sentence or two. Parents should encourage their children to use more vocabulary learned in class in their diaries.
3. Diary tense
The time to keep a diary is mostly in the afternoon or evening, or even the next day. The things described have already happened, so the simple past tense is often used. But if you are describing the scenery, talking about something or looking forward to the future, you can also use the simple present tense or the simple future tense.
