Brief introduction of litchi

Litchi planting conditions
Litchi likes high temperature and high humidity environment and sunny environment. It needs a relatively low temperature during flower bud differentiation, but when the temperature is below 2 degrees to below 4 degrees, it will suffer from freezing injury. Sunny and warm weather during flowering is the most favorable, but low temperature rainy season is not conducive to flowering and pollination.
Litchi originated in Lingnan area of China and distributed in the south, southwest and southeast of China. At present, it is mainly cultivated in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Hainan, Sichuan, Taiwan Province and southern Fujian (Xiamen, Zhangzhou and Quanzhou).
Litchi planting time
Litchi is suitable for sowing in April-June in spring and August-September in autumn. These two periods have the highest germination rate and the best growth. However, China has a vast territory, and there will be some differences in climate and soil conditions.
