Tibet trip (fifth day): Lulang
I have seen the name Lulang countless times and knew it was the name of this place. When I went to Linzhi from Bomi this time, I visited Lulang and finally had a concrete understanding of it.
There are many scenic spots in Lulang, including Lulang Sea of Flowers, Lulang Forest Sea, pastoral scenery, etc. Of course, I know that the most famous one is Lulang’s Stone Pot Chicken, but I forgot about it when I passed by Lulang. As for the delicious food, I was just enjoying the beautiful scenery. I didn’t remember it until I came to Linzhi, so I ate stone pot chicken in Linzhi.
Departing from Bomi to Linzhi, the air and road conditions are much better. As we walked along the Parong River, the rain continued to fall, and there were green trees on both sides of the road. Breathing in the moist and fresh air, the word "lung cleansing" came to mind. As the air improves, so does people's spirit. It is only over 200 kilometers from Bomi to Linzhi. We can reach Linzhi while walking.
The first scenic spot we arrived at was the Lulang Sea of Flowers. The sky was overcast. Apart from us, there was another busload of tourists. Everyone hesitated at the entrance of the scenic spot. They thought the weather was bad and spent 30 yuan to go in. Not worth it at all. The conductor was very nice and reminded us that we can form a group and buy tickets together to get a discount. But everyone was still hesitant, because it started to rain lightly in the sky at this time. Walking all the way from Sichuan, we found that the 318 Tibet section was not as beautiful as we imagined, so we didn’t look at the flower sea scenic spot passing by by the roadside. Too much interest.
After knowing the problem we were struggling with, the conductor said that it was raining in Tibet now and it would clear up soon, so we didn’t have to worry about the weather. I asked her what scenery there was, and she said there was a sea of flowers, the Lulang River, and grassland. We were even more confused when we heard this, because we have seen many such scenes in Sichuan. But don’t go. We traveled thousands of miles to travel to Tibet. It would be a pity to miss it. My brother and I discussed it, thinking that for 30 yuan, we should go in and have a look, so as not to regret it. Although there is a possibility: no regrets, no regrets, but just have peace of mind. As for the other group of tourists who are still struggling, we can only wait and see what they can discuss.
Entering the scenic spot and still on the plank road, the sun came out just as the conductor said. The shawl and umbrella in my hand were no longer needed. I just went back to the car to get the drone and put all these things back. When we entered again, other tourists began to enter, and the sea of flowers suddenly became lively.
To be honest, although there was sunshine after entering the scenic spot, the entire scenic spot was not worth 30 yuan. We can only say that we spent money to make a wish. After all, it was our first time in Tibet. The scenery in the scenic spot is not as beautiful as the beautiful scenery you occasionally encounter on the roadside.
Coming out of the scenic spot, we kept complaining, but it still did not affect our interest in playing. Not far ahead, I saw a place that looked a bit like a scenic spot. It was surrounded by a fence. I thought it was under construction and renovation. I didn't want to go there. I looked at the parking lot next to it and thought that since it was for fun, I could go there if there was a view. .
There is a house in the middle of the fences on both sides, and the fence next to it says "Rural Scenery". We think it must be an attraction. Regardless of whether it is, let's stop and take a look. My sister didn’t want to go when she saw such a messy place, but my brother and I didn’t want to miss it, so we went to take a look.
The glass door in the middle of the house is open and no one is there. We walked a little further inside, entered the glass door, and found an old desk not far away with an old man sitting there. We asked if this is a scenic spot? The uncle replied yes. Ask again, do you charge tickets? He said no need.
My brother and I thought that we would not charge admission fees, and we could go and see it no matter it was good or bad, so we wouldn’t have to worry about money. But when we carefully walked on the swaying wooden viewing platform behind the house, we still felt that the view was not worth seeing. Fortunately, there was no admission fee.
The viewing platform is a platform built with an iron frame extending from the back of the house. Some of the wooden boards on it are rotten and no longer there, and some have holes. They are barely placed on the iron frame. In addition, it was raining and the wooden board was extremely slippery. I held on to the iron railing tightly with my hands. After barely walking two steps, I found a flatter place and took a panoramic photo with my phone shaking, then left quickly and returned to the room. Inside.
The whole scenic spot, just the photo above, just look at the mountains, trees and roads in the distance, there is no other scenery. But when my brother and I were leaving, the gatekeeper stopped us and said we would be charged an entrance fee of 30 yuan per person. I was confused at that time. Didn’t I agree that there would be no admission fee? Why do we need to charge tickets now?
With this thought in mind, I asked, and the uncle said that he had said he would charge tickets. I got a little angry and asked the uncle: "Before we went in, I asked you specifically. You said you wouldn't charge for admission, but when we finished watching, you asked for admission again. What do you mean? And, what do you mean? Is it worth charging a ticket? The platform is terrible, and the scenery is not as good as the one on the roadside. Why should I charge a ticket?" Seeing my bad attitude, the uncle immediately said: "Since you have seen the scenery, you still want it? Those who charge tickets, why don't you two just charge one person's ticket?" Looking at such a dilapidated building, forget it and just pay one person's ticket.
I felt very bad after getting on the bus. It was obvious that I was being ripped off. I forgot to ask the uncle to show the charging documents. The charging requirements were not met at all.
After leaving the pastoral scenery, we arrived at Lulang Linhai. There is a special ticket office here. When I asked, the ticket price was 30.
Let me go. Is thirty the unified ticket for each attraction? The attractions are not big and the fees are not much, which makes people angry. After all, everyone just goes out to have a good time. Even if they are cheated, they won’t care too much. .
The first two have already entered. Lulanglinhai is the place to see Namjagbarwa Peak, so we definitely can’t give up, so we spent another 30 yuan per person. Entering the scenic spot, the first thing you see is not scenery, but a short commercial street with numerous shops on both sides, all selling tourist souvenirs, scarves and other items. After exiting the commercial street, we entered the real attraction.
Passing through the tourist map and going forward is the viewing platform. The viewing platform extends further forward, along the mountain, walking dozens of steps, and there is another viewing platform. My sister-in-law had a high fever and didn't want to leave anymore, so she waited for us at the first observation deck.
It seems like there are only a few steps. It is easy to go down, but when you return, you are so tired that you are out of breath. I wanted to climb up slowly, but when I saw the sun rising directly in front of me, I knew there must be a rainbow, so I didn’t care about my brother and rushed to the viewing platform in one breath. In the gap between the trees, I saw the people who were going there. The third rainbow.
We saw the rainbow, but we still couldn’t see Namjagbarwa Peak. It was a little regretful that we couldn’t see its majestic appearance. (The next day, a tourist I met at Ranwu Lake was lucky enough to see Namjagbarwa Peak)
After leaving Lulang Forest Sea and passing by the Ni River, I encountered a rare rain waterfall and witnessed the entire flow process. When I just wanted to fly the drone, it rained heavily as soon as I flew up, so I couldn't capture the whole process. I was busy flying and retracting the drone. During my free time, I took this photo with my mobile phone. I squatted in the rain and used my mobile phone to shoot a time-lapse. I didn't have time to set up a tripod, so the video was very shaky. Moreover, this was done with the help of an enthusiastic female tourist holding an umbrella.
Although I didn’t take any photos, the process of filming and seeing it with my own eyes was an experience. I feel regretful but also very happy at the same time.
Come to Linzhi before dark, eat stone pot chicken, go shopping in Linzhi, and reward yourself for your hard work. We will arrive in Tibet tomorrow.
