The descendants of Zhuge Liang lived in a secluded village. The Japanese went in and didn't come out.
The terrain around Zhuge Bagua Village is like the bottom of a pot, low in the middle and high around. Water comes from all directions and gathers at the bottom of the pot to form a pond, which is the bell pool. Zhongchi is the core of Zhuge Bagua Village and the basic point of Bagua layout.
Zhuge Bagua Village is like a maze. Once outsiders enter the village, it is difficult to find an exit. Its unique layout is amazing.
The descendants of Zhuge Liang inherited the fine tradition of their ancestors Zhuge Liang. It is said that Zhuge Liang has an old saying that "if you don't look good, you should be a good doctor", so Zhuge Liang's descendants don't ask about their careers and concentrate on studying medicine.
Legend has it that Zhuge Bagua Village is the 28th grandson of Zhuge Liang who settled here. He used his knowledge of Yin and Yang Feng Shui and carefully designed the layout of the whole Bagua Village according to the concept of Jiugong Bagua.
What role did this layout play?
According to local villagers, the layout of Zhuge Bagua Village has certain defensive functions. 1925 During the Northern Expedition, Xiaojun and the warlord Sun's troops fought fiercely for three days near Zhuge Village, but none of the shells landed in the village, and the whole village was safe and sound.
After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, a group of Japanese troops ransacked the village, but no one was found. Then they couldn't find a way to stop. From morning till night, they still didn't leave the village. Exhausted, they were finally shot to death by villagers hiding in the dark with bows and arrows. If outsiders rush into the village and there are no villagers to lead the way, it will be quite difficult to go out. So for hundreds of years, no local thief has committed a crime in the village.
Zhuge Bagua Village also has certain functions of fire prevention, waterproof and theft prevention. For example, the gable of a house is mostly a horse's head wall, which is about 1 m higher than the normal wall, so that it will not spread even if the neighbor catches fire. Fire fighting facilities, such as water tanks and pools, are generally installed in hospitals. Once a fire breaks out, it can be put out immediately. In order to prevent flooding, hospitals generally have perfect drainage facilities, which are accurate and practical.
