The Historical Evolution of Guanlan Street

Guanlan is picturesque and outstanding. According to legend, more than 200 years ago, a famous Feng Shui gentleman in Lingnan passed by Yang Taishan, saw a clear river passing by and shouted "Good Feng Shui, Good Feng Shui", so people called this treasure land "Guanlan"; On the other hand, during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, a very famous geographical gentleman, Deng Kun, traveled here and built a Kannonji named Guanlan, which later became a market in this market, also called Guanlan.

As a place name, "Guanlan" was first recorded in the Records of Xin 'an County in the 24th year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (18 19), and Guanlan was managed by the official and rich department.
