How to adjust the truck brakes? The detailed method of air braking is not the principle!
Rear wheel (1; 2; 3; Axis) method is as follows:
Tighten clockwise first, and then loosen the three buttons (see 1 button of each ring of the bolt inner spring). Tighten the front wheel, then loosen the four buttons, tighten the waist wheel, and then loosen the three buttons.
1. Composition of air brake:
The air brake consists of an air compressor (commonly known as an air pump), at least two air tanks, a master brake cylinder, a quick release valve at the front wheel, a relay valve at the rear wheel, four brake cylinders, four adjustable backrests, four cams, eight brake shoes and four brake shoes.
2. Working principle:
The air pump is driven by the engine, which compresses the air into high-pressure gas and stores it in gas storage tanks, one of which can be connected to the brake master cylinder through a pipeline. The brake master cylinder is divided into an upper air chamber and a lower air chamber. The upper air chamber controls the rear wheel and the lower air chamber controls the front wheel. When the driver steps on the brake pedal, the upper air is first opened, and the high-pressure gas in the air reservoir is delivered to the relay valve to push out the control piston of the relay valve.
At this time, the gas in the other gas storage tank can be connected with the two rear brake cylinders through the relay valve, and the push rod of the brake cylinder is pushed forward. By adjusting the rotation angle of the rear handle cam, the cam is eccentric, and at the same time, the brake shoe is opened, which produces friction with the brake shoe, thus achieving the braking effect.
