Lili Ancient Town. Lili is a very poetic name. Wujiang District, located in downtown Suzhou, is my favorite among the many ancient towns in Suzhou. On the one hand, it is quiet, there are few people, and no tickets are required. On the other hand, compared with other ancient towns such as Tongli and Zhouzhuang, it is very low-key, but this does not affect its charm at all. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Lili was further expanded and developed, with hundreds of residents living here, and it became a famous local town. When entering this ancient town, the most profound feeling is the quiet and comfortable atmosphere. You can enjoy it while walking. The primitive architecture here is a testament to the long history and vicissitudes of this town.
Yiyuan. Although Yiyuan is small, it is exquisite. And there is a feeling of being hidden in the city. Outside the park is a busy place with people coming and going. In the garden are quiet courtyards, pavilions, golden ginkgo leaves, red maple leaves, small bridges and rockeries, a world full of charm in the south of the Yangtze River. If you don't want to walk into this small garden on a weekday, when the weather is nice, you will see a group of art students painting and sketching. Watercolor paintings and painters scattered all over the place add an artistic touch to this small Jiangnan garden. So if you have enough time and have seen the famous Humble Administrator's Garden in Suzhou, you might as well go to other gardens in Suzhou to deepen your love for garden culture.
Qiandeng Ancient Town. Qiandeng Ancient Town, located in Kunshan, is a national 4A tourist attraction. It is an ancient town with more than 2,500 years of human history. There are many humanistic stories in Qiandeng Ancient Town. It is not only the birthplace of Kun Opera, but also the hometown of Kun Opera. Located on both sides of the ancient town of Qiandengpu, the most famous are the seven stone bridges around the dragon and the world's largest jade reclining Buddha statue of Sakyamuni Buddha recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Of course, the leisurely bluestone slabs, ancient folk customs, thousand-year-old pagodas, Gu's former residence, etc. Equally stunning. Qiandeng Town belongs to the monsoon climate zone in the southern part of the northern subtropical zone. The climate is mild and humid, with four distinct seasons, sufficient sunshine and abundant rainfall.
