China Naming Network - Eight-character lottery - I want to move to a new home. There are two rooms in the Bodhisattva's house. I originally wanted to provide them in the living room, but the kitchen is open. Will it have any impact? Where is the best place to compare?

I want to move to a new home. There are two rooms in the Bodhisattva's house. I originally wanted to provide them in the living room, but the kitchen is open. Will it have any impact? Where is the best place to compare?

The image of Buddha and Bodhisattva is generally recommended for the upper position, that is, the position that you can see when you open the door.

of course, the actual situation can be flexible according to your actual arrangement, and the harmony of Buddhism and Dharma is all possible.

In the Q&A of Master Jingkong's study of Buddhism, it was repeatedly revealed:

Q: The living conditions are not very good, so there is no room dedicated to putting the scriptures, so I have to put them in the bedroom. Is it ok?

a: ok. Buddhism is true and respectful from the heart, regardless of form, which must correspond to one's living conditions. If there is only one room, the bedroom and the living room are all together, the Buddha statue is there, which is like the law. If there are many rooms, one room should be used as a Buddhist temple, which is respectful, so Buddhism is very lively. Lecture number: 21-9-65

Anyway, where is the top? Sitting in this seat, at every door, you will see it first when people come in. This position is the big position, that is, the upper position. Because the building orientation of the house is different, no matter which direction, we must offer the Buddha in the upper position, and don't go to the southeast and northwest. That's right.

The good fortune boy in Huayan Jing visits the good knowledge in the south, and this "south" is definitely not the south in the southeast and northwest. If only the south has good knowledge, but the north, the east and the west have no good knowledge? Why do all good knowledge go to the south? "South" is the representation, representing light. In the five elements, South is fire, fire represents light, and light represents wisdom. Good knowledge is a wise person. Where he lives, that place is called "South". Good knowledge is a person who has good fortune, and the place where he lives is also called "Fucheng". Therefore, Fucheng and South do not refer to one direction or one region. We should understand the meaning of Buddhism.

We should understand that we can eliminate disasters and avoid difficulties as long as we sincerely and reverently support and respect Buddha and Bodhisattva.

A brief description of various methods of offering sacrifices:

Offering incense is not for Buddha and Bodhisattva to eat, nor for Buddha and Bodhisattva to smell. It is used to remind ourselves that if we never forget the teachings of Buddha and Bodhisattva, we will not do anything wrong and regret it.

People have troubles inside, temptations outside, wealth fascinates the mind, makes the mind faint, and offers incense, which is to remind themselves to have the wisdom and heart of Buddha and Bodhisattva when judging others.

Burning a lamp, which provides wisdom and light for the public and helps them break their myths and become enlightened. Offering incense is to help the public turn evil into good. Look at the meaning of this sentence. "Incense" means precept. As all students who study Buddhism know, there are precepts that are really fragrant in incense praise, and five points of dharma body fragrance. Therefore, we burn incense and lanterns in front of the Buddha and Bodhisattva every day. You should understand its meaning, not what Buddha and Bodhisattva want. The "incense lantern" is to remind ourselves. When we see incense smoke and smell incense, we should think of abstinence; When you see the lamp offered in front of the Buddha and Bodhisattva, you should think of wisdom. Jiedinghui is a triple gem, "with many precious colors."

Hua Yan Jing of Dafang Guangfo (Volume 734) 22/6/11 File name of Australian Pure Sect Society: 12-17-734

Flowers and fruits are offered in front of the Buddha, which is very common. It is often seen that people bring fragrant flowers and fruits to the temple to offer sacrifices to Buddha and bodhisattva. What do you mean? Flowers represent the cause, and fruit is the result. If flowers are good, the cause will be good and the fruit will be good. If the fruit is good, it must be good. Flowers and fruits represent cause and effect, so that you can see that you often think that planting good causes good results. If you can think of this, the light will shine and your heart will shine! It's not for flowers to be seen and appreciated by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are clay sculptures. How can they appreciate it? Buddhists and bodhisattvas will not eat fruit, so we must understand this truth. This is teaching. Don't misunderstand the meaning! Someone asked, which flowers can't be offered to Buddha and Bodhisattva? What fruits can't be offered to buddhas and bodhisattvas? Then this is superstition. In Buddhism, no matter what kind of flowers can be offered, no matter what kind of fruits can also be offered to the Buddha. Why? Table method! When you see flowers, you know the reason. What is the reason? Four shots and six degrees. Flowers represent four shots and six degrees. In Hua Yan Jing, flowers represent ten paramita, and fruits represent Bodhi Nirvana. In the pure Sect, the fruit represents the pure land of death, and the pure land of death proves the fruit, which is for flowers and fruits.

our most common water supply, water is the most important among all the offerings, and a glass of water is provided. It is best to use a transparent glass for water. Why? Let us see, this is the best, it shows the law! What does water stand for? Water represents our heart. This glass of water is clean and pollution-free, which shows a clean heart. There are no waves in the water, and it is flat, which represents equality. So this glass of water is there for us to see, and we often think that my own heart should be clean and equal, which means this. Water can always be supplied, so can flowers, fruits and lanterns. Teaching you to see it during the day and night, no matter what time, will cause the Tathagata to teach us. It reminds me all the time in that place, which means this. Only for food can't be kept for a long time, because for food table means less, and for gratitude means more. We eat three meals a day, and when we eat, we don't forget: I want to offer sacrifices to the Buddha and support all sentient beings in the dharma world. Buddhism calls eating out, and eating out is giving to all ghosts and gods, and we don't forget to eat. But you should know that all Buddhists and Bodhisattvas eat once a day, so sooner or later they decide not to provide food, but eat once a day. Provide it at noon, and it will be removed after the supply is completed; Just like when you treat someone to dinner, after the meal, of course, the rest of the food should be removed, and you can't always put it in front of the guests. Run out at any time, and withdraw at any time. Therefore, use food to offer Buddha, and withdraw immediately after feeding. It must be understood that after the withdrawal, it is for the public, first for the Buddha and then for the public. Fragrant flowers and fruits are displayed, and the display method can often be placed there.

Now we have seen some Dojo. Their incense and candles are all made of electric lights, and they look like candles. There is a red light bulb on them. I have seen a lot. The same is true of incense, which is not really fragrant, but the front end of incense is a small light bulb, a very small light bulb, and what you see is a red light spot. This one has a form and no fragrance, but it's ok. Let you see, know how to study. Flowers and fruits are also for fake flowers and fake fruits. This line, why? It's a notation, so you can often see it and think of it, but you won't forget it. That's the meaning. It can be said that there is nothing in the venue and the Buddhist temple that is not expressive. If you can see it, you must be able to understand it. If you go in without saying a word, the Buddha and Bodhisattva will be able to explain the scriptures to you. That is really a "profound and subtle method"! All in solemn silence, you carefully understand.

what does the incense burner show? Incense burner is burning incense, incense represents faith, faith incense; Incense represents abstinence and wisdom, and abstinence is really fragrant; Incense is also a five-point fragrance, as I said before. So when you see the cigarette lingering around and smell the fragrance, you remind me: I'm going to take three lessons of abstinence and wisdom, and I'm going to take a five-point dharma, that is, "the light shines." There is no incense burning. When you look at it, there is no incense in the incense burner. When you see the incense burner, you think of burning incense. When you see candles, you used to offer lanterns, oil lamps and candles in front of the Buddha and Bodhisattva. That expression is very obvious, that is, burning yourself and illuminating others. In modern times, you say that you sacrifice yourself for others and sacrifice the spirit of dedication. Nowadays, electric lights are used instead, which is very convenient and clean, but the notation is not easy to detect. Therefore, you must know that the offering is teaching and must receive the teaching effect.

A brief description of the representations of various Buddhas and Bodhisattvas:

Maitreya Bodhisattva, now, is usually made in the shape of a cloth bag monk, smiling and welcoming people. He is the next Buddha. Maitreya's name is transliterated in Sanskrit, meaning cishi, which shows compassion, tolerance and happiness.

the bodhisattva ksitigarbha expresses filial piety (see ksitigarbha sutra for details), and the name of ksitigarbha refers to the treasure of the heart, which everyone has. If you really want to plant blessings, you should plant them from the heart, that is, from filial piety, so that you can have real harvest. Confucius' Book of Filial Piety says: filial piety is the foundation of virtue. With the origin, there are all kinds of interests behind. The Buddha also said that caring for parents is the cause of the three buddhas. ("The View of Infinite Life Sutra", the three blessings of net work, the first blessing, the first sentence, filial piety to adoptive parents. )

In some temples, there are also worshippers for Galand (Guan Gong), which means "loyalty". Loyalty is the implementation of filial piety, not stupid loyalty. You can tell by reading the words that the letter of the Middle Way, the right heart, is your right heart, and your heart is not biased. This is called loyalty; In other words, this is what is said in Buddhism.

By the way, in the Hall of the Great Hero, the Three Sages of Hua Yan and the Bodhisattva Sakyamuni Buddha Manjushri are generally worshipped.

Generally, a combination of three saints, one Buddha and two Bodhisattvas, is a combination of two Bodhisattvas representing the gate of walking and the gate of wishing, as well as great wisdom and great deeds. The Buddha represents the perfect Buddha's fruit, and if he is willing to share his wealth, he can achieve the meaning of complete Bodhisattva with wisdom and action.

Bodhisattva Samantabhadra expresses "great wishes and great deeds", and the last product of Huayan Sutra, Bodhisattva Samantabhadra's Wishing Goods, is the top ten wishes of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, leading to bliss. If there is a wish, there must be action to implement it, and the wish can be truly realized.

Manjusri Bodhisattva expresses "great wisdom". Generally speaking, the wishful head is bent back. Only with true wisdom can we know how to turn back. The so-called endless sea of suffering leads to turning back to the shore, turning back from fascination, evil and dyeing, and relying on awareness, righteousness and purity. Turning back to rely on is for refuge (conversion of ancient Chinese characters).

Only when you have wisdom (judgment), desire (direction) and action (implementation) can you prove the complete Buddha's fruit. Sakyamuni Buddha is the perfect Buddha.

Sakyamuni is a Sanskrit transliteration, which means benevolence and silence.

Benevolence is unselfish. "Benevolence" is a single side, and there are two people here. When you think of yourself, you think of others. As Confucianism says, if you want to stand for others, you can achieve what you want, but don't do to others what you don't want. To achieve the ultimate goal is what Buddhists call "no self". Why can we achieve this level? The Buddha really knows, really understands, that you and I are an organic whole, how can you come? Why me? It is the Taoist saying that "heaven and earth are the same root as me, and everything is integrated with me", that is, the "string" developed by modern quantum physics, which is the essence of all people and everything.

Silence means cleanliness and coolness. All beings in the world, our concubines, are always thinking wildly, and our hearts are full of waves and anxiety, which makes us restless for a moment. However, our silent heart, like a mirror, is clean and free from dye, cool and comfortable, and can see all the mountains and rivers. As the saying goes, mountains come to see mountains, and we can see everything.

Generally, Guanyin Bodhisattva is behind the Hall of Great Heroes. Guanyin Bodhisattva shows great kindness and compassion, and those who are kind "give pleasure" and those who are sad "pull out suffering". There is no difference between the big ones, regardless of gender, age, nationality and religion, all of them will help save the country equally. There are also thousands of hands and eyes of Guanyin, which shows that the eyes are at hand. When you see it, help it immediately, which means this.

In fact, the intentions of Buddhists and Bodhisattvas are all the same, such as Tibetan filial piety and Guanyin unfilial? Actually, it's just as filial. Isn't Maitreya, Guanyin and Pu Xian Manjusri kind? Are kind.

We understand that Buddhism and Taoism are the same, and Buddha and Bodhisattva are all the same in reason, but they show us different aspects in fact. Seeing the image of Buddha and Bodhisattva, we can remind ourselves that we can never forget the teachings of Buddha and Bodhisattva, let go of delusion, persistence and separation, and get clean and cool in our hearts. That's good.
