Which city is better, Huludao or Yuxi?
Huludao is a city with obvious advantages and disadvantages.
1. Advantages. The first is convenient transportation.
Huludao City, Liaoning Province, known as the "No. 1 city outside China", is located on the only way to pass through the Beijing-Harbin, Beijing-Shenyang Expressway, railways and national highways. The railway, highway and shipping industries (Huludao ports and military ports) are relatively developed. The strategic location is very important. The famous Tashan Blockade in the Liaoshen Campaign took place here. It is now also the place for aircraft carrier training and maritime weapons testing (I don’t know if it is considered classified, but everyone in Huludao knows it).
Secondly, the climate is relatively suitable. Huludao has four distinct seasons. There is no particularly cold weather (the lowest is usually about minus 18 degrees, and the room is very comfortable after heating in November). There is also no particularly hot weather (the highest rarely exceeds 30 degrees). The wind and sand are not strong now (about It’s the protective forest in the north that plays a role). Severe natural disasters such as snowstorms, heavy rains, hail, tsunamis, and earthquakes have basically never occurred here. Many people say it has "good feng shui".
Third, the overall price is not too high. As a fifth-tier city, Huludao's overall prices and house prices are relatively affordable. Although residents' incomes are not high, prices are basically affordable.
2. Disadvantages. First, the humanistic environment is average.
Huludao used to be called Jinxi County. It was established as a city in 1989 and renamed in 1991. It was once under the jurisdiction of Jinzhou City. It is located in a remote area in western Liaoning, with little historical and cultural accumulation, and no worthy scenic spots or cultural monuments. It currently does not have its own university. Does the city also have shortcomings in its overall cultural heritage and level of civilization?
Secondly, its economic development is relatively backward. Huludao is home to large state-owned enterprises such as shipyards, refineries, chemical plants, chemical machinery plants, zinc plants, steel pipe plants, etc. However, due to the impact of the economic development and economic structural adjustment in the Northeast, the efficiency of the enterprises is average, and the overall residents Income is lower and there are more laid-off workers. As a coastal city, the tourism industry is only prosperous for four months a year due to the influence of the climate environment, which cannot bring actual benefits.
Third, urban construction planning is insufficient and pollution exists to a certain extent. The old city is relatively messy, disorderly development is limited, and the city appearance is dirty, chaotic, and poor; the new city is developing at the same time, with Dongcheng New District and Longgang New District developing independently, without focus or characteristics. Pollution from the chemical industry, nuclear industry and some small workshop-type enterprises is still relatively serious, affecting the city's appearance
