The history and culture of Huaming Tower

Huaminglou is a beautiful town in the southeast of Ningxiang County. Within the territory, Shuangshi Ridge is surrounded by mountains and verdant mountains, with gushing springs. The canals of the Yougu Irrigation Area intersect with the Jin River, singing softly, like two silver chains embedded in it. According to the "Ningxiang County Chronicle" written by Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty: "In the past, Qi Gong chose this building to build a building, taught two characters and studied it." He named the wooden building where his son studied poetry and calligraphy "Huaming Building". Wang Wei, a poet of the early Tang Dynasty, has a poem: "The willows are dark and a hundred flowers are bright, and spring is deep in Wufeng City." The Song Dynasty poet Lu You's "Mountains and rivers are full of doubts and there is no way out, and willows are dark and flowers are bright, yet another village" is even more popular. When Qi Gong was named, he may have been inspired by the poets' poems that sparkled with wisdom. Of course, it also included Qi Gong's best wishes. Today, the building and its people have become history, and the three characters "Huaming Building" have become the name of this fertile land. This "building" is not that building. In the past, it is unknown whether the two sons of Qi Gong, who were studying poetry in a small wooden building, wrote earth-shattering poems. However, generations of Huaminglou people after the second son continued to write glorious chapters seriously and creatively in this huge and unobstructed "building".
