Yuan Tiangang was lonely when he was young, and his family was poor, but he loved reading, was good at learning, was proficient in skills, and had a deep study of physiognomy. He went to Luoyang as an official in the Sui Dynasty. When Yuan Tiangang first arrived in Luoyang, he settled in Qinghua Square. At this time, his physiognomy prediction became famous, and many people came to look for it at home.

At that time, Du Yan, Wang Jue and Wei Ting came to see Yuan Tiangang and asked him to visit fortune-teller. Yuan Tiangang predicted that Du Yan would be famous for his articles. Wang Jue has been an official for five years; Wei Ting, eyeing the military attache. It is also predicted that all three people will be condemned after they become officials, and then everyone will meet again.

Sure enough, during the Wude period in Tang Gaozu, Du Yan was elected as a Ce Tian bachelor as an imperial adviser. Prince Li recommended Wang Jue as Prince Zhongyun and Wei Ting as military attache.

When their official career was smooth, they didn't expect to be banished to our state because of the palace coup, so they met Yuan Tiangang here again. Yuan Tiangang once again predicted to his face that "fairness will eventually be expensive", and eventually all officials would want three things. The future and ending of the three people have indeed been verified.

Yuan Tiangang (commonly known as "Gang") was born in Chengdu, Sichuan, a Taoist priest in the Tang Dynasty, a metaphysician, astronomer and mathematician in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties. Legend has it that he is good at "learning from the wind", that is, depending on the wind and direction, he can judge whether it is good or bad, and he is tired or uncomfortable. He is also proficient in facial expressions, six rings and five elements.

Sui was the official order, and Tang Wude was the order of Huojing County in Shu County. In the sixth year of Zhenguan, Emperor Taizong heard his name and wrote to North Korea, and was accepted as a think tank. In the eighth year of Zhenguan (634), at his request, Emperor Taizong reinstated his post of Huojing county magistrate and sent him back to his hometown. In the same year, Yuan Tiangang died.
