I was admitted to a private high school. Can I go to another school?
Introduction to private high schools:
Private high schools, as the name implies, are schools invested by private capital. In Europe and America, the number of private high schools is far greater than that of public high schools. However, private education in China started late, and there are only a few private high schools in China.
Because there is no special law to regulate and restrict the running behavior of private schools in China, many private institutions and individuals engage in educational activities (commonly known as running schools) by setting up training institutions of various names. Most of these training institutions are private (that is, private schools), but they are not private high schools in the formal sense.
The difference between private high schools and public high schools;
First, the gap in tuition fees is realistic, and public high schools are suitable for most families. High school is not compulsory education. Every year, students' tuition fees will be a big expense, plus living expenses, books, tuition fees and so on. However, the tuition fees of private high schools are not affordable for ordinary families. Maybe a year's tuition will catch up with the family's income.
Second, the focus of cultivating students is different, and the learning atmosphere is also different. Public high schools pay more attention to students' enrollment rate and academic performance. While private high schools pay attention to grades, they will also make students develop in many aspects, so the atmosphere will be more "involuted" and students will work harder.
Third, teaching management methods are also different. Most private high schools are semi-closed management. Private schools are mostly boarding schools, so parents need not worry too much. Although both of them can handle "day study", they are more at ease for parents, and natural selection will be biased.
Fourth, there are also gaps in educational concepts, and private high schools pay more attention to the individualized development of students. Most students in public high schools are immersed in hard work, and it is also appropriate to describe it as "listening to things outside the window and reading only sage books", while students in private high schools should not only study hard, but also tap their talents and talents, such as piano, violin and dance, which will become "extra points" for students.
