How to weave a net hammock?

Preparation tools: three hard wooden sticks with a diameter of 1.25 inches, each with a length of 30 inches, two hard wooden sticks with a diameter of 5/8 inches, each with a length of 36 inches, 200 yards of nylon rope or other strong rope with a thickness of 1/4 inches and eight yards of rope with a diameter of 1/2 inches, and four ropes.

Steps:

1. Because holes are to be drilled on the wooden stick, it is necessary to ensure that the position of each hole is symmetrical and corresponding, so that the hammock frame will be neat. Mark two wooden sticks with a diameter of 1.25 inch at a distance of 2 inches and 3.5 inches from both ends; The third 1.25 inch stick only needs to be marked 3.5 inches from both ends.

2. Drill a hole of 1/4 inch on the mark 3.5 inches from both ends of the stick; Drill 5/8 inch holes 2 inches from both ends. ?

3. Use sandpaper to clean up the small sundries on the drilling hole, and pass the two ends of two thinner sticks through the 5/8 holes on the thick sticks respectively to make a hammock frame. Both ends of the thin rod should be left about 1 inch outside the frame.

4. At the intersection of wooden sticks, nail a long screw with a hand electric drill to fix the wooden sticks together, so that the frame of the small hammock is ready.

5. Before knotting, hang the finished product rack in a relatively high place for easy operation.

6. Take 1/4 inch thick rope and cut it into 16 sections, each of which is 26 feet long. During the demonstration, take a rope and fold it in half, bypass the stick from top to bottom, and then pass the end of the rope through the small ring at the fold and tighten it. In addition, the rope of 15 is also tied to the thick stick above the frame.

7. After hanging all the ropes, there will be 26 ropes on your frame.

8. Weave a small hammock, starting with four ropes on one side, passing the leftmost rope through two adjacent ropes on the right and going out from under the rightmost rope. The rope on the right is just the opposite. The rightmost rope passes under two adjacent ropes on the left, crosses the leftmost rope, and protrudes from its bend.

9. The other half is just the opposite: the rightmost rope passes through two adjacent ropes to the left and goes out from under the leftmost rope. The leftmost rope goes out from under the two adjacent ropes to the right, and then passes through the rightmost rope and "bends" it to tighten the rope.

10. Repeat this knitting step and tie other ropes together in groups of 4 strands to complete the diy hammock.

1 1, the second flat knot, starting from the third rope, is also played in groups of 4 strands, with 2 strands left and right. The flat knot in the second row is finished, so adjust it again to make them have the same height. The knot in the third row starts from 1 rope, and the knot in the fourth row starts from the third rope and continues alternately until the end of the rope.

12. Finally, a 45-inch-long netting will be woven, which is longer than the finished hammock frame. Every four strands of rope are wound around the thick stick under the frame and fixed.

13. Divide every four strands of rope in two, continue to tie the knot, and tighten and fix it.

14. Cut off the excess rope at the end.

15, take 1/2 inch thick rope, cut 1 block 120 inch long, fold it in half and tie it, as shown in the figure, and make a rope loop.

16. Hang the rope loop in a relatively high place to facilitate the following steps.

17. Take the third thick wooden stick, pass both ends of the rope through the holes in the wooden stick and tie it. The length of the rope from the top rope loop to the small hole of the stick is almost 20 inches.

18, finally the hammock is ready.
