The origin of iron watermelon is tropical America, and it is also planted in Fujian, Guangdong, Taiwan Province and Hainan. Because the shell of iron watermelon is hard, the ripe fruit is often hollowed out to hold the water ladle. It must not be planted in the north of our country, even if it is planted, it will not bear fruit. It can only grow in tropical and subtropical regions.
