Midland, Michigan, USA, has a similar climate to which region in China?

Michigan in the United States belongs to the temperate continental climate zone of the United States. From this point of view, it is consistent with the climate type in northwest my country, such as the Inner Mongolia Plateau, the Hetao Plain, the Ningxia Plain, the Hexi Corridor, and the Tarim Basin, Junggar Basin, etc. However, the temperate continental climate in the United States appears to be wetter and the temperature is milder. Therefore, from the perspective of our country, the climate of the Inner Mongolia Plateau, especially the part east of the Helan Mountain, should be more similar to the climate of Michigan in the United States.
