Old people say that our place was called Lotus Leaf Covered Golden Turtle a long time ago. It seems to be a treasure of Feng Shui. You can even find it on Google Maps!

It is located in Jinguang Village under the jurisdiction of Zhoulao Township (formerly Zhougou Township), Jianli County, Hubei Province. In the early years (cannot be traced back), it was named because of its relatively vivid terrain. The terrain on the north side of the river is like a turtle. There are many birch trees lying on the bank towards the river. One of the big trees looks like a turtle's head and extends to the middle of the river. There are two protrusions at the top of the branch of the trunk of the big tree, which are like turtle eyes. The turtle tail is filled with artificial soil; every summer, the trees are covered with turtles. Under the tree During the Anti-Japanese War, local people used natural barriers to avoid military service. Lotus leaf: refers to the landform on the south bank of the river that resembles a lotus leaf, commonly known as "lotus leaf fishing for golden turtle", also known as "lotus leaf for golden turtle" and "lotus leaf for golden turtle". After liberation, the place was called "Golden Turtle Village", and during the cooperative period it was renamed "Jinguang Village".
