The reason why Xipu Village continues to hold imperial examinations and produces talents in large numbers is inseparable from the fact that Xipu Village attaches great importance to education.

Xipu Village has a long history of establishing education. Because his ancestors came from Shaoxing, the hometown of poetry and calligraphy in Zhejiang, he brought Shaoxing's literary style to Xipu and founded a private school when he was founded. It was not until the 41st year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1562) that the ancestors of the Miao family built the "Dengyun Tower" library on the original site of the Zhuangyuan Study Hall in the village ancestral hall. Miao Shengzhi of the Qing Dynasty built the "Yueyuxuan" and set up a private school next to the stream. During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, villagers established a private school in Nanyang Temple in Xipu. In the 13th year of the Republic of China, Miao Zuyuan and Miao Zuming, former Jinshi scholars in the Qing Dynasty, initiated the establishment of an education board and founded Xipu National School, with Miao Zuming as the principal. The school was located in a private house in Xibatou, Xipu Village, and moved back to the ancestral hall on the eve of the Cultural Revolution. In 1969, the school developed into a complete primary school with 8 teachers and more than 200 students. In the early 1990s, it moved to a spacious and bright new school building built on the bank of Guantan River in Xipu Village. In November 2004, the primary school moved again to the unused building of Xixi River Main School at the foot of Jinzhong Mountain in XJTLU. The school has 14 teachers and more than 200 students, and offers 6 teaching classes.

In early 1970, Xixi Middle School, which had just opened for one semester, moved from Xixi Village to XJTPU. In 1976, a high school was added. In 1989, the ordinary high school was converted into a vocational and technical education high school, and the name was changed to XJTLU Vocational High School. It became an independent junior high school in 1990. In 1999, a branch was established in Xixi Village (formerly known as Beipu), where the township government is located, and Xixi Junior High School, located on the bank of Xipu Gongchan Pond, was established as the main school. In order to improve school conditions, the main school of Xixi Middle School was moved to the new campus in Panlonggang in the east of the village in the autumn of 2003.
