Calculation of passing rate of examination
Definition of passing rate
Pass rate refers to the ratio of the number of people who pass the exam to all the people who take the exam. It is an important index in the exam, which reflects the difficulty of the exam and the overall level of students.
Calculation method
The method of calculating the pass rate is simple. You just need to divide the number of people who passed the exam by the total number of people who took the exam, and then multiply the result by 100, and you can get the percentage representation of the passing rate. For example, if 24 people pass the exam, the passing rate is 22/24× 100%=9 1.7%.
Reserved decimal
Due to endless reasons, the calculated pass rate usually only keeps one decimal place. For example, in the above example, 22/24 = 0.9 16666, but because only one decimal place is reserved, the final result is 9 1.7%.
