The Xibaipo Memorial Hall, established in 1977, consists of four educational visiting areas: the former site of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Exhibition Hall, the Calligraphy and Stone Carving Garden and the Traditional Education Series Project. The compound of the former Central Committee of the Communist Party of China contains the former residences of Mao Zedong, Liu Shaoqi, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, Ren Bishi, etc. and the former site of the People's Liberation Army headquarters. Between the front and back yards of the compound of the former Central Committee of the Communist Party of China is the Second Middle School of the Seventh Communist Party of China. The former site of the Plenary Session; the westernmost part of the compound is the former site of the September meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1948.

The exhibition hall currently has 12 exhibition halls, containing more than 2,000 revolutionary cultural relics. The calligraphy stone carving garden is inlaid with more than 300 calligraphy inscriptions praising Xibaipo. The traditional education series projects include the bronze statues of the five central secretaries, the Leadership Style Sculpture Garden, and the Xibaipo Monument.

From May 26, 1948 to March 23, 1949, it was the residence of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the headquarters of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Located in Xibaipo Village, Pingshan County, Hebei Province. In September 1948, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held the September Meeting here; Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and others commanded the famous three major battles of Liaoshen, Huaihai, and Pingjin here; in March 1949, the Communist Party of China The party also held the important Second Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee here. In 1982, the State Council of the People's Republic of China announced it as a national key cultural relics protection unit.

The present courtyard of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was restored and built on the hillside to the north of the original site in 1971 after the Gangnan Reservoir was built in 1958 according to the original layout and using original building components. The gate faces south and is divided into front and rear courtyards, covering an area of ​​16,000 square meters. The building is a brick-wood structure with a flat roof. The small courtyards in the front yard from east to west are the former residence of Zhou Enlai, the former residence of Ren Bishi, the former residence of Mao Zedong, the former site of the Military Commission War Room, the former residence of Liu Shaoqi, the former residence of Dong Biwu, and the former site of the September Meeting of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The three cave-style buildings in the northeast of the backyard are the former sites of Zhu De's office and residence. Between the front and back yards in the west of the compound is the former site of the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

There are restored displays at the old site and former residence. From 1976 to 1978, the Xibaipo Memorial Hall was built.
