How to remove the iron water pipes of the old Jetta heater

1. Drain the coolant in the cooling system. Remove the control board.

2. Disconnect the vacuum tube and lighting wire behind the heater control device.

3. Pull out the right air pipe under the return pipe on the heater device. Remove the two bolts on the other side and detach the water supply pipe from the flange fitting.

4. Loosen the right mounting bracket nut under the return pipe to remove it.
