Famous painter——Zhao Mengmo

Character introduction:

Zhao Mengmo, courtesy name Enfa, alias Baichuan, a wealthy man with three hundred stone seals, and the master of Shan Dexuan. Born in Chongqing in 1946, he is a contemporary Chinese red calligrapher and painter. Qi Baishi passed on to his disciples, and his painting style was learned from Li Keran, the master of traditional Chinese painting.

Over the years, I have continued to innovate on the basis of learning and inheriting traditional painting, learning from the past but not following the past. He studied landscape painting, learned from many others' strengths, and integrated them all. He was particularly outstanding in the three categories of red landscapes, red landscapes, and landscapes and feng shui. His works are vast and majestic, and can be said to be thousands of miles away, giving viewers a shocking feeling. In particular, Feng Shui landscape painting combines the composition and brushwork of red landscapes, golden landscapes, etc., giving its works both profound artistry and humanistic value. It has a sense of nature, a sense of space, and just the right color of pen and ink, reaching a state of perfection that is both refined and popular. The structure and layout of his landscape paintings are subtle and atmospheric, with the blend of brush and ink, the complementation of dry and wet, and the continuous strokes are vigorous. The work advocates "qiyun", and the nib, belly and root of the pen can be used freely, and the pen can be used in ever-changing ways.

Appreciation of works:

The red landscape painting "The Glory of the Golden Age" is his representative work. , lake basins, waterfalls, red leaves, clouds, pine trees, houses, etc., give a sense of great rivers and mountains, harmony and tranquility, implying peace and prosperity for the country and the people, and prosperity for the family and business. Moreover, the layout of his works is ingenious, the arrangement is reasonable, and the pictures contain wind and energy. The waterfall merges into the ingot-shaped lake, and the house is placed in the middle of the "ingot", which means that there will be abundant wealth; the wealth will fill the door; the rain and mist are transpiration, and the rays of the sun shine, which means that the purple air is coming from the east; the tall pines and cypresses mean longevity and good luck; the overlapping mountains mean smooth progress, etc. . Look at the vast expanse of sky, the rays of sunshine thousands of miles away; I love the lush greenery, like the wax statue of Qianxun. While swaying vertically and horizontally, the artist's positive spirit of blessing the motherland to be strong and the people to be prosperous and healthy emerges vividly on the paper. His works not only have profound traditional accumulation, but also have a distinct flavor of the times. They are powerful, broad and magnificent.

The huge work "Eternal Solidity of Country" was exhibited at the Bird's Nest in Beijing. The Great Wall in his painting is winding for thousands of miles and majestic, highlighting the "thousands of miles" momentum of the Great Wall; in the distance, the clouds and mist are lingering on the top of the mountain. The mountains are beautiful, the golden Great Wall is showing its majestic appearance nearby, and the trees are lush. The whole work vividly depicts the atmosphere of the Great Wall. In the magnificent Bohai Sea, outside the lonely smoke in the desert, in the rising mountains, and in the dusty ancient roads. Flying a majestic and magical golden Chinese dragon, this is the immortal Great Wall.
