The Lai Clan Ancestral Hall in Teng County is located near the exhibition hall of the birthplace of the Red Rural Credit Union. It was built by Lai Buyi.

According to the migration distribution map, the Lai family lived in the Shuiling area in the early days. The "Lai Family Genealogy" in Jiaoling, Guangdong, Xingning and the "Lai Family Origin" lists Lai Xian as Shu Ying's 14th generation grandson.
