How can media people quickly improve their writing wisdom?

In the eight months since I started writing this year, I have met many people who love writing. There are two kinds of people, one is those who want to write but have no practical action, and the other is those who don't write for a long time. As for the first kind of people, I think they may not really love writing, but they think they can write after reading articles written by others, but they feel troublesome or can't write. Regarding the second person, it depends on the situation. Some people may give up because they were not recognized for a while, and some people are caused by lack of planning and habits and only three minutes of enthusiasm.

Whatever the reason, as long as you still want to write, you can put your own self-media writing plan into practice in stages, and you don't have to rush for success. You can cultivate habits step by step, find the motivation to motivate yourself, stick to it gradually, and get rewards. The following are several stages of self-media writing, all of which are personal experiences, which may help you avoid detours.

The first stage: choose a platform and practice writing.

When you start writing, you don't have to rush to register and settle accounts on all platforms. For the comparison of different platforms, you can see my article "I have been writing for several months and tell you the comparison of these platforms". My personal opinion is to open my own WeChat official account and Weibo, as well as the registration brochure.

Needless to say, WeChat official account and Weibo are all their own things. Since you want to write from the media, you must register first. As for the simplified book, compared with other platforms, it has many advantages, and there are no rules for posting types and editing and reviewing manuscripts. Basically, everything you write will have corresponding topics.

There are some detours at this stage. Actually, I started to post articles in Jane's books first, and I didn't register WeChat official account and Weibo at the beginning. After the article was published, many small editors of WeChat official account came to request reprinting, and I didn't refuse. Some official WeChat accounts, websites, and self-media turned away without saying hello, and even changed the author's name. Later, I registered my own official WeChat account and moved my articles from Jane to the official WeChat account one after another, but I never got the original label, because these articles have been reprinted by many other official WeChat accounts, and even marked with the names of the original and other authors.

Therefore, at this stage, you can start writing by opening the official WeChat account, Weibo and brochure. As for the content and article type, don't care too much. Writing it out is the most important thing. If you are not inspired, you can write reading notes, feelings about watching movies, and personal life trivia. Anyway, now is the writing stage, so you don't need to put too much pressure on yourself. The posting order is: 1, official account of WeChat; 2. Simplify the book; 3. Weibo.

One advantage of sending short books is that there is no time limit, no original starting requirements, no length and quantity requirements. You can send your own official WeChat account first, and then send short books to topics and home pages. After you send out the letters, you can forward them directly to your Weibo in the form of pictures.

The second stage: improve verticality and pay more attention to quality.

After the first stage of writing practice, I should have a deep understanding of WeChat official account, Jane's book and the rules of Weibo. If you are lucky, you can even get the original logo of WeChat official account. Although there are not too many restrictions on posting, you can write as you like, but there are still some basic quality requirements if you want to be on the home page. In the process of practicing writing in the first stage, in addition to writing what you want to write, you should also master basic skills such as segmentation, typesetting and drawing.

In the first stage, I wrote some articles, which may have scattered themes, but after this stage, I can basically know what kind of articles I am suitable for writing, and I can probably judge what kind of topics I can write for a long time. Then in the second stage, you can improve the verticality and make your articles more concentrated in theme and type. At the same time, we should improve the quality of articles, at least check and revise more, reduce typos, language diseases and fluency, do a good job in titles, and pay more attention to pictures and typesetting.

This stage may also take a long time, and it is a process of accumulation and promotion, and the output frequency can be appropriately increased compared with the first stage. Generally speaking, as long as the output is stable and the quality is guaranteed, your article will attract more and more attention. Reprinted on the official account of WeChat, you can go to the homepage of Jane. And you will gradually accumulate some fans.

I think at this stage, we should at least get the original marking and reward functions of WeChat official account, and we can set our own collections and topics in the short books.

The third stage: expand the document publishing method and further improve the verticality.

After the first and second stages, you can basically adapt to writing from the media, or you can try to expand more publishing channels, increase the exposure of articles, and guide them to your official WeChat account. As long as you can stick to the second stage and the post has a certain quality, editors of some platforms may invite you to settle in. Even if you don't receive the invitation, you can apply for it yourself, such as headline number, a little information, Zhihu column, douban, etc.

The platform need not be greedy. Some platforms can synchronize WeChat official accounts or third-party platforms, which is naturally very convenient. It is also a good choice to have a platform editor to help you manage your account. These platforms can not only publish their own new articles written in this stage, but also transfer all the good articles written in the first two stages.

In my personal experience, I think headline number is better, because after the novice period, headline number will have advertisements and rewards. If you can sign a contract through the plan of 10 million yuan, you will earn 10 thousand yuan by publishing a certain number of articles every month. This is the largest of all other self-media platforms. Of course, whether you can sign a contract depends on your current situation and luck.

Although Zhihu column and Douban have a large flow, it is difficult to get attention without the review and recommendation of editors, and it seems that there is no future in a short time. This is just what happened to me, and it doesn't necessarily represent most people, so you can still copy the article, just a few minutes later.

There are many platforms, and I don't know all of them. Tencent, Netease, Sohu, Phoenix and Baidu all have their own media platforms.

At this stage, you can still further increase the update frequency, such as three to four articles a week. I think the goal at this stage is at least to win a platform signing author and give yourself a title.

Stage 4: Start making long-term plans.

After the above three stages, it should be said that at least a mature self-media person has been achieved. It would be better if many platforms where you post articles can have more fans and attention. If not, don't worry too much. After all, in the third stage, you got the official recognition of at least one platform.

If this stage or even the last stage is reached, there will usually be editors to draft or even publish books. Even if you don't, you can be mentally prepared. On the one hand, you can make a writing outline, according to the requirements of a book, and then continue to write and update to these platforms; On the one hand, you can also sort out the articles you have written and meet the requirements of one or more books. If an editor comes to you, you are always ready.

At this stage, in addition to preparing your own book publishing plan, you can also build your own brand, such as online and offline sharing, training, lectures and so on. Of course, if you don't like it, you can continue to concentrate on writing articles. In any case, you should have written a lot at this stage, and it is appropriate to consider realizing it.

Personally, I don't write full time, but as a hobby, so I don't spend much time. Although I am at this stage, I mainly export articles, so I basically refuse voice, video sharing and online activities invited by some platforms. However, I will still consider how to realize the value of my article. For example, I will update the article according to a certain topic and have a fixed income in the headline number. Synchronizing these articles to other platforms will also get a big reward, and then these articles can be collected and published and get royalties. At the same time, some articles in them can be submitted to magazines for payment.

The above four stages of self-media writing are some of my personal experiences, and there will definitely be more advanced stages in the future. Everyone's situation may be different, and the time required for each stage will be different, even staying at a certain stage, but everything is difficult at the beginning, and everything must be done step by step. As wechat said-even the smallest individual has his own brand. If you like writing and sharing, take action.
