Is there a nodule on the kidney cancer?
Renal nodules are not necessarily renal cancer. Many people can find renal nodules by B-ultrasound or CT during physical examination. Renal nodules can be divided into benign and malignant conditions. Benign nodules are common in renal cysts, intra-cyst hemorrhage, renal column hypertrophy, hamartoma, nephroblastoma and renal oncocytoma.
Renal malignant nodules mainly include renal cell carcinoma and renal pelvis carcinoma, among which renal cell carcinoma is divided into many types, such as the most common clear cell carcinoma, chromophobe cell carcinoma, chromophobe renal cell carcinoma, collecting duct carcinoma, unclassified cell carcinoma, medullary carcinoma, cystic renal cell carcinoma, sarcomatoid carcinoma, malignant lymphoma and so on. Proportionally speaking, renal tuberculosis is indeed malignant, but it needs to pass detailed examination and laboratory tests. At present, most nodules can be distinguished between benign and malignant before operation by existing examination methods.
