How to control the air pressure when inflating automobile tires?

1, find out the tire pressure range of the car itself:

There are many kinds of tires, and the tire pressure value of each automobile tire is different. Be sure to find out the tire pressure range of the car itself before inflating. The range of tire pressure values can be seen in the car manual or the right door frame on the right side of the car. Of course, if the door has been painted, this sign is gone. Automobile tire pressure is divided into no-load tire pressure and full-load tire pressure, generally in PSI.

2. Measure tire pressure before inflation:

It is difficult for a car tire to leak unless it is punctured by a nail; If it is punctured, there is a safety hazard, so before pumping air, check the tire pressure and feel the tire for nails.

If the tire pressure is between no-load tire pressure and full-load tire pressure, there is no need to inflate; If it is lower than the no-load tire pressure, you have to pump up; If it is higher than the full tire pressure, let out some air.

Note: Tire pressure measurement and inflation should be carried out under cold tires. The air inside the just-driven tire becomes hot, so the measurement and inflation value will be inaccurate.

3. Pumping tools:

There are two kinds of automobile pump tools: manual and electric. Some electric pneumatic pumps have tire pressure gauges, but they need to be plugged in. You can also use a bicycle pump to pump up, which is of course tiring. Every time the pump increases 15 psi, the pump will increase by about 0. 1 psi. You can explore this yourself. Manual pumping is tiring, suitable for a small amount of refueling, but it can be used as a means of fitness.

4. Test the tire pressure again after manual inflation:

If the pump does not have a tire pressure gauge, it needs to be measured by a tire pressure gauge alone; If you use a pneumatic pump, you don't have to! If the air pressure is found to exceed the standard, you can use the deflation function of the tire pressure gauge to deflate when pressing until it reaches a reasonable value.

5, tire barometer should be accurate:

Buy a good quality tire pressure gauge, the measured value must be accurate, and it is best to have a measurement certificate; Inaccurate tire pressure directly leads to inaccurate tire pressure, which is a potential hazard to automobile tires and safety.

You can pump air in the 4S shop, and then measure it again with your own tire barometer and compare the results.
