Landscape of Cisse National Forest Park
Cisaiguo Forest Park consists of four scenic spots, namely Jiuzhai Bay, Round-backed Chair Lake, Wangjiang Mountain and Heiliang Mountain, with an average elevation of1.382m and the highest elevation of (Round-backed Chair Lake)1.970m. It is a rare southern alpine wetland.
According to legend, Tang Priest and his disciples passed by this place to learn Buddhist scriptures in the West, and when they saw the splendid scenery in the West, they mistakenly thought that they had arrived in a paradise in the West. Therefore, the "Cisse State" got its name.
Jiuqiwan Scenic Area: Located 20km away from Zhang Wu (Cunping) Highway, it is the only way to Cisaiguo Forest Park. There are many strange rocks and waterfalls, and rare plants and ancient and famous trees cover the sky. It is a tourist reception center and the main place for catering and accommodation.
Round-backed armchair Lake Scenic Area: Located in the west of Zhang Cun Ping Forest Farm, with the highest elevation of1.920m and the average elevation of1.400m, there are many scenic spots such as maze, stone forest, Tianchi and watchtower. It is a paradise for wildlife, and it is also the location of resort skiing and resort skiing.
Heiliangshan Scenic Area: The main scenic spots are located in Heiliangshan Grand Canyon, with a length of 12km. According to the landform, it is divided into three scenic spots: upper, middle and lower reaches. There are more than ten scenic spots, such as Yixiantian, Yanziya, Laiyutan, Baisheyan, Canyon Hanging Coffin, Longwangdong and Xisaiguo Wonderland.
Wangjiang Mountain Scenic Area: There are yuntaiguan, Shen Jianfeng, Herbal Garden, Natural Museum and other scenic spots. The main peak of Wangjiang Mountain 1970 meters, yuntaiguan is built on the top of the mountain, which is a famous Buddhist resort. Climb to the top of the mountain and you can see the mountains in Wan Li, north of the Yangtze River. On a clear day, the Yangtze River is faintly visible, and Yichang City is brightly lit at night. Excalibur peak-Excalibur peak is a stone peak, about 30 meters high, with the top cut and the shape of an inverted sword. Primitive forest, a forest in vast expanse, is the most precious natural resource in Wangjiang Mountain. There are 10000 mu of well-preserved virgin forests and ancient residual plant communities. It is a green treasure house of natural resources. It can be used as a base for scientific investigation by experts and scholars, and also as a paradise for tourists to spend the summer sightseeing. Herb Garden-Wangjiangshan is a large natural medicine garden. There are more than 100 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines found in forests, cliffs and river valleys, and many of them are rare. Natural Museum-The "Natural Museum" in Cisse National Forest Park displays rare and endangered plant specimens and animal pictures, and plans to turn the Natural Museum into a place for popular science, science and education and scientific research.
There are also abundant human resources here. There are stone city, yuntaiguan, Tibetan soldier cave, Lijiazhai and other historical sites; There are natural landscapes such as Yixiantian, White Snake Rock, Wanglongdong and Shen Jianfeng. According to legend, during the Three Kingdoms period, Guan Yunchang rode to the Longping River, and Li Laiheng, the adopted son of Li Zicheng, the leader of the peasant uprising, was stationed in Shicheng. Today, the remains of Stone Town are faintly visible.
