Laba story
? There are many stories about this Laba porridge: the Buddha's memorial day, Zhu Yuanzhang's recollection of bitter experience, the custom of "playing ghost with red beans", and folklore ... In many stories, Xiaoyu chose the following three stories from the perspective of being suitable for children's psychology. Younger children are suitable for listening to the folkloric version, while older children are suitable for listening to the Buddhist version and Zhu Yuanzhang version.
In fact, the beauty of Laba porridge lies not only in its delicious flavor, but also in its related Laba customs, such as ancestor worship, family reunion, making Laba garlic and so on. Because of these warm sense of ceremony, Laba porridge tastes unique.
once upon a time, there was a family of three: father, mother and son.
? Dad is the most hardworking. He gets up every day when the cock crows and goes to work in the fields at dawn. He said, "Hands are cash cows, paved with golden roads."
My mother is the most frugal and lives carefully. The clothes she mended are dense and good. She said, "There is no cornucopia in the world. Diligence makes a rich man."
? Their home, rice and noodles in Man Cang, flocks of chickens and ducks, melons and fruits in a rack.
But his family has a lazy son. This son sleeps after eating all day, and his neighbors call him a "sleepy".
? The old couple are old. Dad said to his son, "If you want to eat, you have to sweat. You have to learn to grow crops, but you can't just sleep. "
Mom said to her son, "Mom and Dad can't stay with you all their lives. You won't live. What can you do when you get old?"
who wants to marry such a person and a good girl? As a result, "Sleepy Boy" took a wife and was as lazy as him.
she sleeps when the sun goes down, gets up late in the morning, and doesn't even help when the oil bottle falls down. Neighbors call her "a pot without a bottom".
After a few years, the old couple became seriously ill. They told "Sleepy Man" and "No Bottom Pot": "If you want to live a good life, you must be diligent and thrifty. Rice should be warm in time, and the ground should be deeply plowed and carefully weeded. " Soon the old couple passed away.
? "Sleepy" thought that the old couple would not enjoy happiness. He said to his wife, "Man Cang is the grain and Man Cang is the bean. Why do you have to be stupid and busy?"
? "No bottom pot" feels that life is quite good, so don't worry. She said to her husband, "It's better to sleep than to weave."
Neither of them took the old man's words to heart. Every day, they just eat, drink, and have fun. After a few years, the land was scarce and there was no food at home.
On the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month, the north wind was whistling, and snowflakes were floating, almost as big as a slap in the face. "Sleepy" and "bottomless pot" didn't eat or wear, and they huddled in the broken house, shivering.
"Trembling, trembling, I miss my mother's white bun." "Hey, hey, sweep the miscellaneous grains to make a bowl of porridge." Miscellaneous grains are found from the bottom of the tank, the seam in the granary, the wall and the mouse hole. Who knows that they just wanted to drink the bowl when a strong wind blew and the house collapsed.
According to this legend, every year on Laba, every family should cook a pot of miscellaneous grains porridge and drink porridge for the holidays to remind themselves to cherish their lives.
(Zhu Yuanzhang remembers the bitter experience)
Zhu Yuanzhang was the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty, but when he was a child, his family was very poor and he often ate the last meal without the next.
In order to reduce the burden on his family, Xiao Zhu Yuanzhang had to go to the landlord's house to herd cattle.
? The landlord is very mean. As long as the servant doesn't satisfy him a little, he will scold and beat.
Not only that, he will also lock up people who make mistakes and deny them food.
When he came back from herding cattle, little Zhu Yuanzhang led the old buffalo across a single-plank bridge. The bridge deck was very narrow, and the old buffalo fell off the bridge.
Little Zhu Yuanzhang is worried. There is a ravine two or three meters deep under the bridge. He can't get the old buffalo up at all.
The old buffalo was crying "Cleisthenes" in the ditch, so little Zhu Yuanzhang had to run back to the landlord's house to call someone.
Soon, the landlord came with people, and it took a lot of effort to get the old buffalo out.
At this time, it was found that the old buffalo was lying motionless on the ground. It turned out that one of its legs was broken!
? "How do you herd cattle?" The landlord flustered and frustratedly picked up the whip and smoked it on little Zhu Yuanzhang.
After a phone call, the landlord was still not convinced, so he ordered his servants to lock up little Zhu Yuanzhang.
After Zhu Yuanzhang was put into the woodshed, he felt pain and fear, and soon fell asleep. When the sun was high in the sky the next day, his stomach was already growling with hunger.
Little Zhu Yuanzhang searched and searched in the woodshed for a long time, but found nothing to eat. He sat on the ground sadly, tears pattering down.
suddenly, a mouse jumped from his feet and got into a hole in the corner. Small Zhu Yuanzhang a look carefully, hey, how is there a grain of rice at the mouth of the cave?
He picked up a stick and poked it into the hole. The mouse squeaked out and brought some food. Little Zhu Yuanzhang was so excited that it must be a granary for mice!
He dug into it, and sure enough, he took out rice, beans and red dates from it ...
Little Zhu Yuanzhang quickly collected these grains and begged his servant to cook them into a pot of porridge. Unexpectedly, this pot of miscellaneous porridge is very sweet and delicious!
? Later, when Zhu Yuanzhang became emperor, he somehow remembered this matter again, so he asked the chef to cook a pot of porridge mixed with various grains and enjoy it with the ministers.
It happened to be the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month, so Zhu Yuanzhang named this kind of porridge "Laba porridge". (Commemorative Edition of Buddha's Enlightenment)
More than 2,5 years ago, there were many countries in ancient India. In the northeast of the country, there was a Kapiluo Weiguo. The king's name was Jingfan and the queen's name was Moya.
One day, when Mrs. Moyev was sleeping, she dreamed that a white elephant came out of the sky and entered her body from her right rib. She suddenly felt happy and comfortable, and looked at herself as if she were shining like the sun and the moon. When she woke up, she went to see King Sudoku and told him what had happened in her dream.
king suddhodana immediately called his ministers to ask what was the omen of the queen's dream, and a brahmin soothsayer replied, "This dream is very good! The queen is pregnant and will give birth to a prince. This prince is an eternal saint, and he will be able to show the Sakyamuni family. After listening to this, King suddhodana will be very happy.
Mrs. Moyev has been in perfect health since she dreamed that the white elephant was pregnant.
Queen Maya, who was pregnant for 1 months, led the ladies-in-waiting to roam the Lumbini Garden one day. At that time, it was the first ten days of April, and it was sunny and full of vitality. The garden is full of fragrant grass, beautiful flowers, verdant trees and fragrant lotus flowers, which is full of auspicious and festive atmosphere.
After a week's tour of the garden, Queen Maya rested in the shade of a carefree tree. When she saw that the branches and leaves were luxuriant, soft and drooping, and the flowers and fruits on the trees were beautiful and fragrant and lovely, she raised her hand to pick the flowers and fruits, so the prince was born.
Wang Zigang was born to talk and walk without support. He shone brightly, his eyes were everywhere, and he lifted his foot for seven steps, and a lotus appeared on the ground at each step. At that time, the fragrant wind scattered, the flowers and rain were colorful, Yue Xian played harmoniously, and the gods and men sang in unison. Er Quan naturally gushed from the ground, and it was cold and warm, fragrant and clean.
King Sudoku was so happy when he got his son that he named him Siddhartha, which means that he had many strange auspicious meanings when he was born.
just seven days after Sakyamuni was born, his mother, Queen Moya, died of illness. King suddhodana was saddened by it, and it was even more sad to look back on the young prince. So he took Mohobo Poti, the sister of Queen Maya, into the palace and entrusted her to raise the prince.
Maha Bo Bo Bo Ti is virtuous and kind. He regards Prince Siddhartha as his own and loves him very much. Prince Siddhartha in his childhood was as clever as any other. He was carefully cared for by his aunt. When it was cold and warm, he ate moderately, and his body was extremely healthy and developed rapidly. Just like Nijituo tree, it was fertile and growing day by day.
Prince Siddhartha in his youth was fond of purity. He is very tired of the noisy life in the court, and often wants to go out and enjoy the natural scenery.
one day, he traveled from the east gate on a Qibao wheel-car, and saw an old man with a bent back and a bamboo stick in his hand, walking with difficulty like an ant. Prince Siddhartha suddenly felt that life was old and bitter, and his heart was melancholy.
another day, when he was traveling from the south gate, he saw a patient with sallow face, haggard face, panting and groaning. Prince Siddhartha felt sorry for the patient, and his heart was particularly fearful.
On another trip from the West Gate, I saw a dead man lying stiff, bleeding and smelly, and the whole family sent him away crying. Prince Siddhartha felt deeply in his heart and was terrified and depressed.
On another day, Prince Siddhartha went out to play in the North Gate, and saw a monk with a dome robe, good appearance, bright spirit and dignity. The monk told him the way to practice liberation. After listening to this, the prince made up his mind to abandon wealth and enjoyment and practice deliberately in order to get rid of the pain of "old age", "illness" and "death".
Prince Siddhartha asked his parents to allow him to become a monk, but King suddhodana and Lady Mahabharata sobbed. He also asked his parents for four wishes: one is not old, the other is not sick, the third is not dead, and the fourth is not goodbye. Said that if you can fulfill four wishes, you will not become a monk. When King Sudoku heard this, he knew that he still wanted to become a monk, which made him especially happy.
In desperation, King Sudoku took pains to build a palace with flowers blooming at three o'clock in spring, summer and autumn, and added all kinds of wonderful songs and dances to please the prince's eyes and ears, and to keep him on guard, so as to make him get rid of the idea of becoming a monk.
Sakyamuni was not moved by the pleasure of the five desires at all. In the middle of the night on February 8, the moonlight was clear. He got up, stared at his sleeping wife Yelunda and son Luo Ziluo, said goodbye to them silently, and then left the room. He saw that the ladies-in-waiting and the guards were fast asleep, just like wood and stone, and he felt sad again.
Prince Siddhartha said goodbye to his wife and children, and called on the groom to hide his horse. The prince got on the white horse and went out over the wall by the north gate, followed by Che Wei. According to the Buddhist scriptures, the earth shook at the beginning of the horse, the four heavenly kings held the horse's feet, and the Vatican Emperor released the banners to lead the way.
When the prince left the city, he made a vow: "If I can't live or die, I will never return to the palace; If I don't become a Buddhist, I will never see my father again; If I am not full of love, I will never see my aunt, wife and children again. "
So Prince Siddhartha and the groom stopped, rode step by step, and crossed the Qingxi River in the boundless darkness. By dawn, it had reached a hundred miles away and reached the deep forest by the Abami River, where the ancient pagodas practiced asceticism.
Prince Siddhartha was delighted when he saw that the forest was lush and quiet, so he ordered Che Zang to lead his horse back to the palace. Che Zang refused, and sobbed and urged, "The prince grew up in the palace and enjoyed honor. Now he is in the forest, accompanied by thorns, insects and beasts. How can he stand all these hardships and dangers?" The prince replied, "You don't have to say much. You should know that although I am in the palace, I can avoid tangible thorns and insects, but I can't avoid invisible thorns and insects. Now I am trying to get rid of my old age and illness and get permanent and true happiness."
Say it, Prince Siddhartha thought; If you don't shave off your beard and hair, you will become a monk, that is, you will pull out your golden knife, cut off your hair by yourself, and swear: "I will shave off my beard and hair today, and I am willing to break away from all sentient beings." At this time, a hunter came, dressed in cassock, and the prince exchanged his gorgeous clothes and became a monk image completely.
when the groom saw this situation, he knew that it could not be redeemed, so he had to take the horse to bid farewell and find his way back to the palace.
after becoming a monk, Sakyamuni visited the master in many ways in order to find a way out. When he saw many men of practice, who were clothed in grass, starving themselves without food, stretching their feet, lying in the dust and thorns, worshiping the sun and the moon, or serving the fire and water, he was greatly dissatisfied and knew that they were all heretics.
Later, Sakyamuni learned meditation from Alologyaromo and Utogarama who lived in seclusion in caves. The former teaches him to "follow the steps of meditation" and he can get an "empty kingdom"; The latter read to him "the state of being neither psychological nor psychological".
So Sakyamuni was alone in a cave, sitting cross-legged, and meditating on his face in order to realize. When he went to Qiu Lai in the spring, he got nothing. He realized that it was impossible to get enlightenment, so he changed his mind and decided to experience asceticism in order to get rid of it.
Shakyamuni came to the ascetic forest of Jiagao Mountain by the Nile Chan River and meditated alone under the tree. He has no cover, no shelter from the wind and rain, no blinking, no terror in his heart, and he abandons everything, puts down all of them, or limits his breathing, and his mind is confused, such as needling bones; Or his tongue pressed against his jaw, and he was sweating like a spring. It is said that because he kept his mind clean and kept the precepts, he couldn't afford to lie down, and even a big eagle was feeding his young in his first nest, and he was also allowed to be polluted by feces.
It's been six years since Sakyamuni practiced asceticism alone. At first, he ate one hemp and one wheat every day, and gradually he ate one hemp and one wheat for seven days, so that he didn't drink or eat. Finally, his body became extremely emaciated, with his hands rubbing his chest and abdomen and touching his back.
one day, he suddenly realized that it is not easy to achieve liberation by overindulgence, but there is no way to get to the enlightenment by simply abstinence, so he decided to eat again and join the metaphysical path again.
? There are two cattle herding women, one is Nanduo, and the other is Polo, who often drive cattle and put green grass by the ascetic forest. I usually see cows, bathe in the river, squeeze milk, steam it into chyme, fill a bowl, hold it in front of him, and offer it for worship.
Sakyamuni accepted the support and made a vow to say, "Eat and drink today, and be inflated, so as to preserve the wisdom and longevity of all beings." Take it immediately.
Since then, Sakyamuni has been offered chyle by the shepherdess every day. After January, I am physically strong.
