What kinds of water-saving irrigation are there?
Water-saving irrigation includes sprinkler irrigation, pipeline water delivery, underground irrigation, micro-irrigation, drip irrigation, canal seepage prevention and so on.
1. Sprinkling irrigation: Sprinkling irrigation is to spray water into the air to form small water droplets with the help of pumps and pipeline systems or using water droplets from natural water sources, and spray them on crops.
2. Pipeline water delivery: Pipeline water delivery is to send water directly to the field for irrigation, so as to reduce the leakage and evaporation loss of water during open channel transportation.
3. Drip irrigation: Drip irrigation is to use plastic pipes to send water to the roots of crops through orifices or drippers on capillaries with a diameter of about 10mm for local irrigation.
4. Underground irrigation: Underground irrigation is to introduce irrigation water to a certain depth below the field surface and moisten the soil in the root zone through soil capillary action to meet the needs of crop growth.
5. Micro-irrigation: Micro-irrigation is to send water and nutrients to the soil near the roots of crops evenly and accurately through the pipeline system and the emitter installed on the last pipeline according to the water demand of crops.
6. Anti-seepage of canal: Anti-seepage of canal is to change water delivery from soil canal into anti-seepage canal, which can increase the water utilization coefficient to 0.6-0.85, which is 50-70% higher than that of soil canal.
