Introduction to Mengshan attractions:
Mengshan, lying across the northwest side of Mingshan County, is a mountainous area. It is high in the north and low in the south, distributed in a belt from northeast to southwest, extending to Ya'an. The mountain is about 10 kilometers long and 4 kilometers wide. Mengding is surrounded by five peaks, shaped like lotus flowers. The highest peak is Shangqing Peak, with an altitude of 1,456 meters. The foothills of Mengshan Mountain have rich rural scenery in western Sichuan, with lush forests and bamboos, bridges and flowing water, surrounding farmhouses. From the Zhongshan area with an altitude of about 80-1000 meters, from west to east, there are tea gardens, piles of green, green waves, green and pleasant, which is spectacular. The existing ancient temples Yongxing Temple, Qianfo Temple, Jingju Temple and other temples are located in the green tea gardens and lush forests, with red walls and Buddhist temples, which add to the charm. Above the middle mountains is the forest area.
The forest cover stretches to the entire back mountain. This is an evergreen coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest belt, which is green all year round and becomes even more beautiful in spring and summer. The ancient ginkgo trees on the top of the main peak are more than a thousand years old. They are tall and straight. They look like green caps in spring and summer, and like golden clouds in autumn. They can be seen from ten miles away, which is really strange. Mengshan is named after the rain, fog, and foam. Because the annual rainfall reaches more than 2,000 millimeters, it was called Western Sichuan in ancient times. Ya'an at the west foot is known as the City of Rain, and there is also a saying that Ya'an is rainy and the center is surrounded by mountains. Heavy rain creates a scene of clouds and fog. In spring, summer and autumn, when viewed from the top of the mountain, clouds and mist float among the mountains and ravines, and the hills are exposed, just like a fairy mountain and a palace. Looking up from the bottom of the mountain in winter, you will see strands of ice and snow, and the mountains are surrounded by clouds, which is both real and illusory. At sunrise, golden light diffuses and red clouds float. The hills are like phoenixes, bathing in the rising sun. In the evening, you can see the lights of thousands of houses in Mingshan and Ya'an from a distance, like stars falling to the ground, and there are thousands of scenes. Mengshan is one of the birthplaces of China's tea industry and tea culture.
