Looking for a piano piece from "Groundhog Day"

Hey hey hey hahaha I found it, it is now 3:30 in the morning. Today (should be called yesterday, hehe) I finished watching this movie in the afternoon, I loved it. I also noticed the piano piece in it, but I didn’t expect it to be variations on the “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini”. However, I immediately thought of the movie OST, and I actually found it in it. Hahaha

Let me share it/ShowFile.asp?FileID=152383

This is it:

14. Eighteenth Variation from Rapsodie on a Theme of Paganini

Album introduction:

This is a relaxed and romantic love comedy. The male protagonist Phil Connors is a selfish and arrogant weather broadcaster who reports on the annual "groundhog". On the day of "Groundhog Day", he fell into a stagnant point in time and could only live this day forever. The constant repetition of the same day made him frustrated and crazy. Finally, he tried to end his life but found that no matter how he died, he would still wake up in the hotel bed the next day and continue "Groundhog Day". Soon, Phil discovered the benefits of this, because for one day, he could be omnipotent and omniscient. He could even easily rob a cash transport truck without being discovered... Phil also gradually became attracted to his female colleagues. Andie MacDowell develops a crush on her and tries to use all tricks to catch her, but he soon discovers that the upright and intelligent Andie can always see through his schemes. Helplessly, Phil began to use these endless days to cultivate his character, enrich himself, and help others. This made Phil a real better man and finally won Andie's heart, so a new day came...

George Fenton is very good at this kind of humorous romantic light comedy, such as Later on "You've Got Mail", he can always bring you happiness and emotion with beautiful and moving jazz-style soundtrack. Another characteristic of Fenton is his ability to perfectly integrate many classic existing songs with the soundtrack. For example, this time you can listen to "You Don't Know Me" by jazz king Ray Charles, "Almost Like Being in Love" by Nat King Cole, etc. You can also listen to some very good classical music, such as Tchaikovsky "Quartet No. 1 in D", Mozart's "Sonata in C", and of course the most outstanding one is the variation version of Rachmaninoff's "Paginini Theme". This is played by Phil in the film. Just imagine that yesterday he was a selfish, arrogant and annoying guy, and today he is playing famous songs gracefully and smoothly. How can he not make the ladies excited? The video The climax also occurs at this bridge break. When you can't stop laughing, you can't help but cheer for Phil.

The music in the film is full of humor and wisdom, such as the song "I've Got You Babe" that is played on the radio every morning. Who wouldn't want to be woken up by this song at 6 o'clock every day? What about suicide? The greatest success of George Fenton's work is its fusion. He closely combines jazz and classical, humor and romance, just like the variation played by Phil, which flows smoothly and beautifully.
