Replace BMW x3 Camshaft Solenoid Valve for Troubleshooting
1. Loosen the screws at two positions with a flat-head screwdriver, one is located at the intake pipe bayonet, and it needs to be loosened enough to pull it out (upper left circle). The other part is located on the throttle (below the lower right ring). After loosening the bayonet, pull the degumming tube slightly.
2. Remove the large box and lift it off (there are two locating plugs on the windshield side below the box, which can be easily taken away with a little ingenuity).
3. Remove the plastic upper cover of the engine, unscrew the filler cap first, and break it at four corners with a little force. There are three locating pins under the cover plate, which can cover the rubber seat with a little force. Then remove and fix the screw with a sleeve. The fault can be eliminated after repair.
