The advantages and disadvantages of cold waves
Benefits of cold waves:
1. Conducive to heat exchange on the earth's surface. Cold waves carry a large amount of cold air toward the tropics, causing large-scale heat exchange on the ground and helping to maintain the ecological balance of nature.
2. When the cold wave invades the south, it often brings widespread rain and snow, which helps alleviate crop drought in winter. The high nitrogen content in snow water can greatly increase the nitrogen in the soil. Heavy snow covers overwintering crops, helping to resist cold and heat preservation. Low temperatures can kill a large number of pests and germs that lurk in the soil over the winter.

Adverse effects of cold wave.
1. Harm to agriculture.
