Stay in the places of interest in Yangshan.
It is said that a long time ago, an ancient temple named Liang Qing Temple was built on the commanding heights of Yangshan Mountain. Hundreds of meters south of its gate, there is an ancient pagoda, but it goes from winter to spring, year after year, half dead. However, no one can tell how many vicissitudes it has experienced. According to legend, Wei Chijingde, a general of the Tang Dynasty, had a special liking for this ancient pagoda. After the reunification of the Tang Dynasty, he rode around the country and once went to watch this ancient locust tree. When they left, they left two attendants and gave them silver coins to settle down under the tree. So far, this ancient pagoda tree has deep roots and luxuriant leaves, which is very spectacular.
Ruixiang Temple, originally built in Yangshan, an ancient town, is one of the oldest temples in Pizhou. "Pixian Zhibu" records that "it was built in the Yuan Dynasty, with towering pines and cypresses and surrounded by temples on three sides. There is a neem tree in the southeast of the temple, which has been around for hundreds of years. " Ruixiang Temple was built at the foot of the western slope of Dawu Mountain, the main peak of Yangshan Mountain, at the bottom of three lush mountains knocking each other. Sitting facing south, it is strewn at random, magnificent and antique, and Suyangshan Town is spectacular. There is a clear pool near the door, which is quite large. During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, incense reached its peak and there were as many as 100 monks. It is said that a monk from Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang came here after a phoenix from the northwest. After staying in Yangshan, this phoenix quietly landed at the foot of Wushan Mountain, the main peak. Phoenix never falls into a land without treasure. Seeing the ups and downs of Lin Tao, the wild flowers are full of slopes, and the spirit is lingering, just like entering a fairyland, so the monk built a temple here and named it "Ruixiang Temple". Unfortunately, this century-old temple with morning bells and drums, towering old trees and extraordinary prosperity was completely destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, and the century-old "object image" neem tree and several ancient ginkgo trees were also uprooted. There is a stone dragon next to the northwest of Ruixiang Temple, with a nest on its back and a pair of small and exquisite footprints. Not far away, there are clusters of jujube trees, with branches and needles hanging down and long. Not far away, there are a pair of three-inch golden lotus footprints on a boulder, and there are horseshoe prints on the slate below. Legend has it that the Queen Mother sat on the dragon's back to change diapers for children, dried diapers on jujube trees, and got on the horse when she left. These mythical and legendary monuments have survived to this day, attracting many tourists to stop and watch.
There is also a scenic spot called "Eyes Well" at the corner of Suyang Mountain. This "double-eye well" is made of artificial bluestone. It is said that it has a history of thousands of years and there are two wells, so it is named "double-eye well". This well is clear and transparent all year round, and the well water is sweet and refreshing. It is said that people who drink this well water never have diarrhea. This is the legend of the "double-eyed well".
Yangshan is not only rich in places of interest, but also full of talented people. Chen Lue, a scholar in the Qing Dynasty, is famous everywhere. So far, the folk book Hu plan belongs to him, and his tombstone is still standing on the hillside of Yangshan.
