On the Sichuan-Tibet line, there are colorful flags on every mountaintop. What do they mean?

On the Sichuan-Tibet line or on the tops of mountains in Tibetan areas, there are many "golden flags" or "wind flags" similar to colorful flags with printed scripture patterns tied on ropes. It is called "Londa" in Chinese, and the literal translation is the wind horse flag. The wind horse originated from a primitive sacrificial culture, mainly derived from the worship of animal souls.
