February 2009 Water Information Announcement

First of all, rain

In February, the precipitation in our city was more than normal. The average monthly rainfall in the city is 120mm (Changwu area11mm, Jintan area 127mm, Liyang area 120mm), which is 2. 1 times of the same period of last year.

The rainfall of main representative stations in February: Changzhou Railway Station 1 13 mm, which is 1.95 times of the corresponding value in previous years, ranking fourth since the founding of the People's Republic of China; Jintan station 124 mm, 2.3 times of the same period of last year, ranking first in the same period since the founding of the People's Republic of China. Liyang station 149 mm, 2.4 times of the same period of last year, ranking first in the same period since the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Second, the water regime.

1, water regime of the Yangtze River

In February 1 day, the water level of Datong Station in the Yangtze River was 4.85m, the flow rate 1 2000m3/s.in March1,the water level was 6.30m, the flow rate 16800m3/s, and the water level was higher than last year1.77m.

The highest tidal level at Xinzha Station along the Yangtze River in our city is 4.25m (25th), which is 0.04m higher than the historical average, and the lowest tidal level is1.67m (22nd). The highest tidal level at Weicunzha Station is 4.30 m (No.25), which is 0.07m higher than the historical average, and the lowest tidal level is 1.56m( 1 1).

2. Water levels of major rivers and lakes

Affected by the diversion of dams and stations along the Yangtze River and the continuous precipitation, the water level of rivers and lakes in our city has been rising continuously since February 10. See table 1 for the water level changes of main representative stations. The monthly average water level of rivers and lakes is 0. 1.4 ~ 0.36 m higher than the same period of last year.

3. Taihu Lake water level

Affected by the Yangtze River Diversion Project and continuous precipitation, the water level in Taihu Lake has risen sharply. Taking the water level of DaPukou Station as the representative, the water level of 1 in February was 3.00m, and that of 1 m in March was 3.3 1m, with an increase of 0.3 1m and a monthly average water level of 3.00m, which was 0. 13m higher than that of the same period of previous years.

4, the main reservoir water level

Shahe Reservoir is affected by the reinforcement and water discharge, and the water level is low, with the monthly average water level 17.38m, which is 0.44m lower than the same period of previous years. Maximum water level18.71m (28th) and minimum water level16.88m (15th).

The average water level of Daxi Reservoir is 10.75m, which is 0.94m higher than the same period of previous years. The highest water level11.43m (28th) and the lowest water level10.63m (15th).

On March 1 day, the total storage capacity of nine flood reservoirs in the city was 87.47 million m3, an increase of 23.7 million m3 compared with the beginning of the month and a decrease of 13 1 10,000 m3 compared with the same period last year.

5. Displacement along the river

The total diversion (diversion) of the five gates along the Yangtze River (Jianbi Gate, Jiuqu River Gate, Xiaohe New Gate, Weicun Gate and Zaogang Gate) is 0.88 1 100 million m3, and the diversion (diversion) of the third gate in our city is 64.4 million m3, accounting for 73% of the total diversion (diversion) of the five gates, and there is no drainage. In which 10 day 17: 30, 13 day 16, overflow 0.130,000 m3, 25: 40 day1/kloc-.

6. Major rivers in the city flow into Taihu Lake.

The total water inflow of Caoqiao River and Taige Canal in our city is 56 million m3, but there is no water inflow in Wujin Port and Yapu Port. There is no backflow.

7. Water inflow and outflow during water turning (10 ~ 25).

95.7 million m3 of water comes from Jiuli section in the upper reaches of the Grand Canal, 57.3 million m3 from rivers along the Yangtze River, Weicun and Zaogang, 55.7 million m3 from Henglin in the lower reaches of the Grand Canal, and 35 million m3 from Caoqiao River and Taige Canal into Taihu Lake. The river water storage in Changwu area increased by 62.3 million m3, and the water level rose by 0. 15m on average.

Third, the recent water situation

At present, the water level of rivers and lakes in our city changes smoothly, and with the increase of precipitation, the water level will rise.
