Where is Jinji Mountain in Yixing?

Jinjishan is the operational command center of Zhenhai Campaign in 1885 Sino-French War. Ouyang Lijian, a patriotic general of the Qing Dynasty, once commanded the battle here, won a great victory in the main battle and wrote a glorious page in the history of the Chinese nation's resistance to aggression. At present, there are the monument 1 block of "Inspector Defending the Enemy" and the monument 1 block of "Defending the Army Gate Site", which is the only existing site of the Qing army barracks tunnel in China. Jinjishan area is a group of coastal defense sites in Beilun, covering an area of about 4 square kilometers. There are more than 30 well-preserved important cultural relics, concentrated in Jinji Mountain, Qijia Mountain, Lishan Mountain and Koumen Mountain. These relics are mainly military defense facilities, including forts, bunkers, watchtowers, trenches, long dikes, camps, beacon towers and so on. And the battles against Japan, Britain, France and Japan are also difficult to count. In the history of China, many patriotic generals and people of insight, such as Qi Jiguang, Zheng Chenggong, Yu Qian, Lin Zexu and Xue Fucheng, left footprints here. Jinji Mountain is listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Rui'an Jinji Mountain

Jinji Mountain, formerly known as Jinzishan, is located 4 1.5km northwest of the urban area, northwest of Guifeng Township and Shangyong Village, at the junction of Ruian and Lishui Qingtian. Known as "the first mountain in Dong 'ou", with an altitude of 1320m, it is the highest peak in Rui 'an. It belongs to the south branch of Donggong Mountain Range, and its main peak is 1320 above sea level. 7 meters is the highest peak in our city. Looking at the main peak from afar, it looks like an old man in a shawl, hence the name "Golden Mountain", which is homophonic for Jinji Mountain. The two peaks are opposite and towering into the sky. Surrounded by mountains, or like Youlong, or like Crouching Tiger, guarding the foot of the mountain. The rocky hillside, surrounded by dangerous cliffs, strange peaks, deep valleys, and flowers and trees all over the mountains constitute a moving gallery.
