Anhua black tea pyramid scheme refers to a bad case in which a group of people in Anhua County, Hunan Province illegally promoted counterfeit tea in September, 2012000, claiming that this tea can cure cancer, hypertension, diabetes and other diseases, and made a lot of false propaganda through the Internet and telephone to promote a large number of tea, involving hundreds of millions of yuan.

It is understood that the gang promoted illegal products through recruitment, rebates and other ways in multi level marketing, and in the past three years, it absorbed and developed nearly 654.38+million off-line personnel nationwide. By constantly expanding the scale of MLM organizations, they make huge profits and infringe on the property and life safety of the general public.

After more than five years of investigation and crackdown, from 2065438 to February 28th, 2006, Anhua County Public Security Bureau of Hunan Province organized a large-scale police operation, which destroyed this pyramid scheme in one fell swoop and arrested more than 20 suspects/kloc-0, involving a total amount of 590 million yuan.

This case has also become one of the biggest pyramid schemes in the history of tea industry in China, which has shaken the whole tea industry in China and set a higher standard for the supervision and management of tea industry.
